Zero Family

The Zero Family^{[note 1]} was a family of slaves in living in Maistia who were bought by the Freezis Family. The last survivor of the family later moved to Levianta, USE along with his masters.

Early History[]

Sometime around the mid-EC 900s in Maistia, two slaves married and had three children, two sons, and a daughter. While the family lived miserably, they managed to pull through the days. Soon, however, they were sold by their master. Purchased by the Freezis Family, they moved to Levianta, where they were treated even more inhumanely.

They would soon become subjects to the cruel games of the youngest son, Loki Freezis, who along with his father released the slaves in the forest and hunted them for sport. The only survivor left was the middle child,^[1] Sigurd Zero.^[2] As a reward for his survival, he was made a butler of the household and a member of the Association while the daughter, Loki's first kill, was taxidermied as a trophy.^[1]

Dark Star Scandal[]

Sigurd, given the slave name of "Bruno", swore to rebel against his masters. In the late EC 900s, he founded the organization PN and in EC 960, helped Loki's friend, Gallerian Marlon escape the same fate his family had endured. A year later, the organization assured Loki was thrown in jail for attempted murder on Gallerian. Bruno then swore allegiance to Gallerian, living with him as a servant.^[1]

In EC 978, Bruno caught the criminal Nemesis Sudou for her involvement in the Titanis Sinking Incident.^[3] Knowing that she was Gallerian's illegitimate daughter, he allowed her to join PN under a new name.^[4] This action, however, doomed him after Nemesis became the dictator of Elphegort; in EC 993, Bruno and the remainder of PN infiltrated the Tasan Party's headquarters to stop Nemesis from firing Punishment, and was personally killed by her.^[5]

Hell on Earth[]

After the destruction of the Third Period, all the dead members of the Zero family residing in the Heavenly Yard were dragged back down to the earth as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.^[6]
