You-ring

Tomotoshi Kitano^{[note 1]}, known mostly by the pen name you-ring^{[note 2]}, is a Japanese illustrator for the Evillious Chronicles, who began working for Akuno-P as The Daughter of Evil Series began to expand. She has contributed multiple times to the series, illustrating PVs and books alike.

Early Work[]

Kitano was first introduced to the series early on, becoming a big fan of The Daughter of Evil and The Servant of Evil. She was then hired to work and collaborate with mothy on The Daughter of White released in 2010, making illustrations of Scene 2 and 3 in the PV. In July the same year she illustrated the PV for Desert Bluebird, also designing the logo for the song. Later on she did an interior illustration for the booklet in Evils Kingdom for the song Judgment of Corruption. The following year, she made her first novel contribution by illustrating a color spread for The Daughter of Evil: Wiegenlied of Green of Clarith and Rin which was featured in the promotional PV for Tree Maiden ~Millennium Wiegenlied~. By June that year, she had illustrated for the full PV for Judgment of Corruption, marking her one of the major illustrators for the Seven Deadly Sins Series.

Further Novels[]

In the end of the year, the book The Daughter of Evil: Praeludium of Red was released, with Tomotoshi having illustrated the cover. In 2012, she illustrated the cover of The Daughter of Evil: Praefacio of Blue, and made an illustration of Kyle Marlon in the artists' comments section, thanking mothy for including her in the series. Some of her illustrations were included in the PV for Handbeat Clocktower. That same year, she made a color spread for Epic of Evil: The Daughter of Evil Fanbook of Riliane Mouchet and Germaine Avadonia sparring and took part in an interview along with Yuu and Yoshida Dondorian, talking about her impression of mothy and and love for the series.

By December, she had illustrated for the PV of Bloodstained Switch and had an illustration included in The Daughter of Evil Schedule Book 2013. Kitano then took a break from Evillious for a long while, but was hired again in 2016 in order to illustrator the cover of Deadly Sins of Evil: Judgment of Corruption, the novelization of the Deadly Sin song she illustrated for. The following year 2017 she made an illustration of all the main characters in the seven deadly sins series for the artists' comments in Deadly Sins of Evil: Master of the Heavenly Yard, congratulating mothy on finishing the series. She would not make a contribution again until 2023 when she drew an illustration of Gallerian Marlon for the Symphony of Evil event.
