Gumina Venomania, originaly names Gumila Venomania, was a Duchess of the Beelzenian Empire, governing the teritory of Asmodean. Despised for her deformed appearance and rejected by her close friend and crush, Cherubim, Gumila slaughtered her family and forged a contract with the Demon of Lust. After rechristening herself as her sister, "Gumina Venomania" abducted and defiled numerous man using her dark and enchanting powers.
History[]
Early life[]
The currently unnamed Gumila was born to Ilotte and Nylpho Venomania in Lasaland, Asmodean, in EC 113. Born with a small face on her right cheek, her mother committed suicide and her father, believing her a "demon child," imprisoned her in their mansion's basement. Treated as non-existent, the girl grew up in her cell with no company but his guard, although Duke Ilotte occasionally visited to briefly talk with the guard. Later on, that guard taught the child how to write, and she learned about other basic things in the world, such as the sun
On October 1, the child began to keep a diary and regularly wrote about her miserable circumstances, slowly improving her literacy under the guard's tutelage and yearning to go outside. Later on, she learned about the Evillious Calendar and began including years in her diary entries' dates. On July 19, EC 123, the deformed child was discovered by her half sister, Gumina; since then, the other girl began to regularly visit her, offering her amenities and telling her stories about the outside world. Eventually, Gumina snuck the girl out of the mansion the night of September 7, with the complicity of the guard.
Since then, Gumina began regularly sneaking her half-sister out of the mansion to see the outside world, taking her through Lasaland's Workshop Street on October 10. On October 16, the sisters met Cherubim Glassred during their outings and, once he promised not to tell on them, the three played together. Over the years, the three often snuck out of the mansion to play at Workshop Street; the girl who would become Gumila regularly watched the blacksmiths work, while Cherubim watched an old painter and Gumina saw the Gine Workshop make dolls.
Eventually, Gumina convinced their father to free her sister, and she became a servant of the mansion named "Gumila".Although reviled by everyone else for her appearance, Gumila continued to be friends with Gumina and Cherubim, although over time envying her sister's beautiful face and popularity. Around the early EC 130s, Gumila posed for a portrait by the old painter from Workshop Street, hiding her deformity behind her long bangs. Once the painting was complete, Cherubim kept it in her quarters in the attic.
Angel to Demon[]
In December of EC 135, Gumila learned that Gumina and Cherubim were engaged. Devastated, she approached Cherubim at a party to confess her love to him; before she could make her confession, Cherubim cruelly broke off their friendship and mocked her "ugly" face, claiming he loved Gumina. Heartbroken and humiliated, Gumina was overcome with rage. The next day, she took a sword and slaughtered her father, stepmother, sister and the entire staff. After her fury subsided, she was overcome with guilt and prepared to commit suicide with her sword.
Before she could kill herself, Gumila was approached by a woman in a dark cloak, E.L., and she explained her miserable situation to her. The mysterious erman offered a katana from his robe and instructed her to impale herself on it instead, in order to make a contract with the demon inside it. Although skeptical, as she exchanged her sword for the new blade Gumila heard the voice of the Demon of Lust and became convinced the woman spoke the truth. Impaling herself on the katana, Gumila forged a contract with the Demon of Lust and was filled with its magic, turning her blood purple.
After introducing herself, E.L. explained that she now had the power to seduce men with her gaze, manipulate memories, change faces, and transform herself. Agreeing to use the demon's power to seduce man, Gumila was allowed to keep the vessel of sin and, with it, she changed her face to look like Gumina. When they discovered that there had been a witness to her crime, E.L. taught Gumila how to perform an amplification ritual to invoke the sword's memory-wiping power on either sex within the area.
Hastily and improperly performing the ritual, the new Gumina Venomania unintentionally wiped her own memories of herself as well as the target's. Amnesiac and masked as her sister, Gumina believed herself to be the only survivor of her family's massacre. In response, the Beelzenian Empire had Gumina succeed her father as Duchess of Asmodean, although having Marquis Claster Glassred manage Asmodean while she recovered from her memory loss. Horrified by her new lustful urges, Gumina stayed secluded in the manor by herself. Later that month, she got into an argument with the Claster over her seclusion.
The Tailor of Mystica[]
During the Lasaland New Year Festival, Venomania, starving and filled with lust, instinctively left her mansion and meandered into the capital, where she collapsed. She was rescued by Sateriasis Octo and awoke in his uncle's shop; as Sateriasis tended to her, she apologized for her strange behavior after her family's massacre, which had caused the citizens to believe she'd gone mad, and later formally introduced himself. When she prepared to leave, Sateriasis's uncle had him escort her back to her mansion after giving her a change in clothes.
After arriving at the mansion, Gumina suppressed herself from leering over Sateriasis and affirmed to him that she was living alone while she was unable to remember her family's murderer's face. She told him that she gone into the city because she had run out of food, and because she was looking for two women she barely recalled, one being an Elphe and the other a Netsuma. Sateriasis directed Gumina to ask her Elphe uncle, Marquis Claster Glassred, about the former and she timidly described their argument.
As they continued to talk, Gumina ended up hiring Sateriasis to tailor her a new wardrobe, having him stay in a guest room at the mansion while he worked. Sateriasis worked late into the night over the next two weeks; one night, after being unable to find "her" own diary, Gumina found Sateriasis asleep at his work table and again had to resist the lust she felt towards him. She was then startled when he awoke terrified from a nightmare, before he apologized and returned home. Over the next five days, Sateriasis worked hard and completed her wardrobe.
By dawn, after Sateriasis gave the duchess her last suit he tried to hurry to return to Mystica, evading Gumina' excuses for him to stay. Nonetheless, she insisted on seeing him off to the city gates. As they passed through town, Gumina noted Sateriasis's discomfort beside her and increased her speed towards the city gates. Once they reached the border, she tried to question Sateriasis on her behavior when he tried to leave, only for him to reject her and leave. Gumina was stunned as Sateriasis's words triggered her memory of Cherubim's own cruel rejection, and from there she remembered the massacre and the deal she made with E.L.
E.L. suddenly approached her immediately after in her pink rabbit body; once she confirmed that some of her memory had returned, Gumina expressed hesitance chasing after the departing Sateriasis due to how far he'd already gone; reminded she could fly and threatened to hurry up, she telepathically conversed with the Demon of Lust asked for its assistance; sprouting wings, Gumina took flight and caught up with Sateriasis in the forest.
Giddy with lust, Venomania asked the horrified Sateriasis for his hand in marriage and was surprised to learn he had already found out about her contract. As Sateriasis refused to be her, Gumina completed her demonic transformation and invoked her powers on him, brainwashing him. Once Sateriasis had been enchanted to her will, Guminaa kissed him passionately. They were suddenly interrupted when a Elphe man, Kaino Greeonio, stumbled on the scene and screamed at the sight of Gumina's demon features.
The Peasant Man of Abito[]
While she stood perplexed, E.L. caught up to Gumina with her human body and scolded her for letting her demonic appearance be seen. Releasing Sateriasis, Gumina tried to nonchalantly brainwash Kaino as well, only to be taken aback when he remained unaffected and fled. As E.L. pointed out it was too risky to chase after the man during the day, Gumina headed back to the mansion with E.L. and the brainwashed Sateriasis to discuss their plans.
After she returned to the mansion with her first harem member, E.L. instructed her further on how to use her powers. She also advised her to continually have intercourse with men, to avoid the wild lust she felt before. Over the next week, Gumina spent her time making love to Sateriasis, reluctantly moving him into the basement out of the public eye. Remembering only a few vague memories, Gumina received no answer from E.L. on why she had murdered her family.
By February of EC 136, E.L. used her extensive connections to track Kaino to the village of Abito and Gumina took a carriage with him there that morning. During the ride, Gumina had a nightmare of when Cherubim had scorned her; after she awoke, she talked with E.L. about their travel and learned during the conversation that she was the only one who could understand his speech as a rabbit. She later became lost in thoughts over her memories before they arrived at the village of Abito. Still tired from her escapades with Sateriasis, as the carriage entered town Gumina considered her options eventually decided he'd have to keep him and her future "husbands" secret, since polygamy was outlawed in Beelzenian Empire.
After E.L. also promised to deal with the matter of Sateriasis's worried relatives soon, she and Lukana entered the village and met with its chief. Gumina was temporarily delayed by the extremely talkative chief while E.L. went on on ahead. When she managed to catch up with him later, it was to find that she had already located Kaino. Gumina was surprised to find that the man had stopped being afraid of her, having concluded that she was some kind of pretty demon princess come to make him happy. Although ultimately failing in her second attempt to brainwash him, Kaino nonetheless agreed to come with her to her mansion.
Afterwards, at E.L.'s insistence Venomania went back to the mansion alone, while E.L. stayed behind and led Kaino there under she cover of night. Later that night, E.L. had Gumina perform the amplification ritual again in the basement, taking care not to wipe her memories again. With it, she wiped the memories of everyone in Lasaland and the surrounding villages of her encounter with Sateriasis and Kaino. Once she had confirmed it was successful, Gumina went to bed with her newest harem member.
The Singer of Lisa-A[]
Gumina made love with Kaino over the following three days and nights, moving him into the basement with Sateriasis. Later on, Venomania heard about the alleged handsome of the star performer at the grand theater in Lisa-A, Loan Evan, and traveled to the town to see him in person. Attending the theater, she was captivated by his exotic appearance and decided to make him her third master. After the show, Venomania arranged to meet Loan backstage and, finding him to be a gay, brainwashed him to fall for her.
After Venomania returned to her mansion in Lasaland, Loan joined her two days later as she had instructed and she brought him into the basement. They were greeted by Kaino, who had been given a new revealing clothes by Sateriasis. After she introduced Loan to Kaino, and observing the frosty meeting between the two, Gumina brought him along to the kitchen where Sateriasis was cooking. Once she had introduced him to Loan, Sateriasis gave Venomania some old diary volumes he had found in the barred room deep in the basement. After she exchanged a few words with Sateriasis, Gumina led Loan out.
Next, she ended up introducing him to E.L., finding her in the middle of a project. After Loan and E.L. exchanged pleasantries and Gumina quarreled briefly with the mage, she tried to learn more about what she was working on before she kicked her and Loan out. Gumina concluded the tour by bringing Loan to his bedroom and making love with him. Sometime afterwards, Gumina read through a little of the diary volumes Sateriasis had found; not remembering that they were her own, she became curious about the girl who had once been imprisoned in the mansion, before her thoughts returned to having sex with her concubines.
The Childhood Friends[]
Once Gumina, Cherubim, and Claster had all settled in the drawing room, Gumina listened to the marquis report about the mysterious disappearance of man across Asmodean and was relieved to hear they were unsolved; Gumina explained in turn that her memories hadn't fully returned yet. Shortly after, she heard Claster say that Cherubim would be living with her from now on, shocked to find out he was her fiancée in light of her cold memories of him. Worried her harem would be discovered, she quickly convinced the marquis not to force Cherubim to live with her, with the unwitting Cherubim's help.
Nonetheless, before he left Claster arranged for Gumina to meet with Cherubim again to help recover more of her memories. Three days later, in March, Duchess Venomania met with Cherubim at the Glassred manor and they decided to have their date in Lasaland; as they were accompanied by Cherubim's servant, Carol Shields, Gumina slowly began to remember more about Cherubim. The three traveled to Lasaland, with Cherubim making small talk, and then arrived in Workshop Street. They walked through the street, Cherubim prompting Gumina with the things they used to do in their childhood.
When he mentioned Gumila, she pressed his further; the shocked Cherubim told her about Gumila, "her" older sister, and Gumina identified her as the mysterious writer of the diary. As Cherubim also mentioned the portrait that had been painted of Gumila, Lukana searched her mansion that night until she found it and read more of the diaries to confirm that this girl was the writer. Becoming instinctively disgusted by her own portrait, Gumina came to the conclusion that she hated her "sister"; remembering Cherubim's rejection, she came to the conclusion that Cherubim had chosen this Gumila over her and that this caused her massacre.
Venomania decided to rage again and called out again to the Demon of Lust grant; transforming into her demonic form, Gumina flew to the Glassred Mansion and slaughtered the household as she searched for Cherubim. While she slaughtered the guards and servants, she encountered Carol Shields. When he tried to stop her progress, even attacking her with a sword, Venomania invoked her lust spell and brainwashed him. Carol then led her to the room his fiancée was hiding in, helping restrain him as she came inside. As Cherubim screamed and protested, Venomania seduced him with her magic.
The Growing Harem[]
After taking her new harem members back to the mansion, Gumina performed the ritual to wipe out all memories of what happened at the Glassred estate from the local populace. Gumina then began keeping company with solely Cherubim; during the same period, she began leaving more and more to handle state affairs in the wake of Marquis Glassred's breakdown from the tragedy that befell his manor. While returning from one of her political outings, she encountered the homeless Hakuto Netsuma in town and, reminded of E.L., brainwashed him to be the seventh member of her harem.
When she brought Hakuto home, Gumina was shocked to learn that Hakuto and E.L. appeared to be acquainted. As E.L. insisted she get rid of him, eventually admitting that Hakuto was the older brother of her human medium, the surprised duchess entrusted Hakuto to Sateriasis before speaking with E.L. further in private. She learned that E.L. had burned down Haru and Hakuto Netsuma's village looking for the Venom Sword before she possessed Haru. Moving on, E.L. requested for Gumina to seduce Marlon's king, Karchess Marlon. Although uneasy, she listened as E.L. explained that Karchess had one of the seven vessels of sin.
Under E.RL's repeated persuasion, Gumina was convinced to help with her request, if only to prevent herself from being eventually defeated and to continue growing her harem. Sateriasis soon after came in and reported that Hakuto was given a room right next door to E.L.; Gumina learned from the incensed sorceress that Hakuto's presence was causing Haru to rebel and prevent E.L. from threatening Hakuto as she usually would. When E.L. left, Gumina as shocked to learn from Sateriasis that Cherubim had hung Gumila's portrait in his room.
As she interrogated Cherubim, he told Gumina that he had Carol acquire the portrait from the attic. Furious he still pined for Gumila, Venomania burned the portrait in the fireplace. Afterwards, she kissed Cherubim and then used her magic to wipe his memories of Gumila. Sometime after that she attacked King Karchess's entourage in her demonic form, slaughtering the soldiers guarding him. As his escort Marquis Marcs Donald continued to assault her, the Duchess tore off his arms and then erased his memories of his attack. After seducing Karchess, Venomania added Soni Sonic, Lazuli Blue, and Priem Soap to her harem by early April.
The Baker Love of Mystica[]
While she attending to her harem, E.L. arrived to have Gumina accompany her to Mystica to find another vessel of sin. Before she left, she entrusted the mansion to Sateriasis, watched as E.L. entrusted her human body to Kaino, and gave Cherubim a passionate kiss goodbye. With E.L.'s rabbit body in her coat, she arrived at the town and was directed to find an altar in the Misty Mountains. Entering the local bakery, Venomania met the Handsome Rajih Assad and tried to ask for directions to the mountains. After his presence was discovered by the bakery's owner, he had Rajih escort the duchess to the mountain range.
Chatting with Rajih on the way, the conversation eventually turned to mentioning the recent disappearance cases and Venomania learned that Rajih had been friends with Sateriasis before he joined her harem. Once they arrived at the foot of the mountain, Venomania gave an intimate farewell to the flustered boy and headed for the mountain range, taking E.L. out of her coat. As she approached the altar in the mountain's ruins, the duchess talked with E.L. about how she hadn't even known that Rajih was one of Sateriasis's childhood friends.
Arriving at the altar, she invoked her lust powers and opened a secret passage to a burial chamber. Inside, he found a spoon in a pile of treasure. Although believing it was a second vessel of sin, E.L. corrected him that it was a magic tool made by her father and she quickly lost interest. As E.L. cursed her officer, Tette Cetera, for his false lead, Venomania expressed interest in adding him to her harem. She then departed from the tomb, planning to take shelter for the night with Marquis Ferdinand, who was himself investigating the disappearances.
While seeking refuge at the Ferdinand Mansion, E.L. attached herself to his wife and Gumina massacred the rest of the household. The next day, she went to the farm and paid Rajih's father to let her take Rajih out for a stroll, before approaching and flirting with the boy himself. She then had Rajih take her on a tour of the town, looking through the marketplace and then dancing together.
Later that day, Venomania returned to the mansion and met with E.L., who showed him Marquis Ferdinand's secret room full of Mayank Beelzenia's possessions. Spotting a portrait of Mayank, the duchess became fascinated by his beauty and decided to acquire him. Several days since her outing with Rajih, the duchess bought him a lavish suit and had him visit her in the Ferdinand mansion that night.
Venomania stayed with Rajih in one of the bedrooms and tried shared a passionate kiss with him, until he deduced she was Sateriasis's abductor after spotting his bracelet on her wrist. As Gumina tried to convince the boy to come with him willingly, she nonetheless ended up invoking her powers when he tried to flee. Shortly after she did, Rajih's friend Lilien Turner entered and confronted her over the massacre of Ferdinand's household. Undergoing a demonic transformation, Gumina attacked Lilien and badly wounded her before shattering his weapon.
Although Lilien continued to struggle and weather Gumina' taunts, she collapsed from her injuries and Gumina reverted her transformation in triumph. With Rajih properly entranced, Venomania departed for Lasaland with E.L. and explained to her what had happened. While eager to return to her harem, the mage reminded her of Tette Cetera's waiting punishment and Venomania became eager to make love with him too. Sometime after, Gumina received Rajih in her mansion with the rest of her harem.
Downfall[]
The duchess continued her antics, adding Mewtant Lusha, Tette, and Rio Neja to his harem. She later seduced the Beelzenian spy Neru Nerune. After Neru lured Prince Mayank to Asmodean, Gumina was confronted by him at his mansion, accused of being the culprit. She then argued with him over making him her wife, claiming she was a god that gave men the love they wanted. As Mayank continued to resist her, Gumina enchanted him as well. Within a few years later, Gumina sired Mayank Beelzenia, Kaino Greeonio, and Sateriasis Octo child.
One morning she learned that Loan was discovered dead after she spent time with him the previous night. As Sateriasis spoke with her over the matter, Gumina expressed her indifference, much to Sateriasis's shock. Later on, in order to monitor the other man's health, Gumina found and enchanted the elderly Andrew Sweets due to his previous occupation as a doctor. Later on, Gumina noticed that Cherubim hadn't shown himself in days. Worrying he had ended up like Loan, she went to his room and found him painting; exasperated that he still hadn't forgotten Gumila, Gumina took his painting supplies and burned his canvases, forbidding him from painting.
Later that year, the Duchess was visited by the famed Irina Clockworker, turning her away due to being in a bad mood and aware she was investigating her at the behest of the Beelzenian Imperial Family. Telling E.L., Gumina learned that Irina was E.L.'s foe; E.L. then recommended she tried to enchant her as well. A few hours later, she found E.L. using Sateriasis as a medium, planning to flee with the Venom Sword. As E.L. explained that she foresaw the Duchess's downfall, Gumina forced her relinquish Sateriasis, although allowing her to leave with the sword and her original medium.
Brushing off E.L.'s concern, Gumina was visited by Yufina Castella disguised as man; after seemingly invoking her powers upon "him", she brought her new groom to the basement. As they embraced, Yufina stabbed Venomania in the chest with the Golden Key and triumphantly revealed herself to the duchess.
While Yufina left to search for Karchess, Gumina collapsed from the wound; calling for the demon, she learned that, as she had been stabbed with another vessel of sin, the key, she was going to die while the demon would return to its vessel until it found a new host. Once the demon's voice disappeared, Gumina' face returned to its original deformed state; around this time, all of her memories returned and the Duchess realized that she, in fact, was Gumila.
Afterlife[]
Following her death, Gumina' soul remained barred from the Heavenly Yard due to her contract and as a result she ended up in the Hellish Yard; during this time, she was able to retain her sister's face as her "ideal" form and left her original identity behind completely. During her time in the underworld, the Master of the Hellish Yard told Gumina the story of the sun god's charge Rinne Avadonia, the girl called "Irregular". In EC 999, as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard, Venomania returned to the Third Period; as a result of the merge, her memories and those of others in Asmodean reconstructed the capital Lasaland and the former Duchess returned to the site of her mansion.
Meeting with Sateriasis, Cherubim and Mayank, the former duchess invited the members of her former harem to live with her once again of their own free will, promising to behave for their cooperation. Some time after, the Master of the Hellish Yard visited and took Gumina back to the bowels of the Hellish Yard.
Since then, Gumina waited at the judgment door with Michelle Marlon and Her descendant Gakuga Sudou until the Master of the Hellish Yard arrived with Alexiel Lucifen d'Autriche and Prim Marlon, pleased that one of their new arrivals were man. Gumina later watched as Michelle suddenly summoned Sleep Prince; during the confrontation, as Sleep Prince hypnotized Prim into attacking, Gumina brainwashed her in turn with her power. As Michelle and Gallerian escaped, Gumina and the others were blown out of the Hellish Yard in the process, winding up back at her estate in Asmodean.
After being welcomed home by her harem, Gumina decided to tag along with Gakuga and Alexiel as they went to Evil's Theater, convincing them to let her go since she was only one who could counter Sleep Prince' hypnosis. Arriving underneath Evil's Theater, Gumina sprouted wings and flew Gakuga and Alexiel up, dodging the gunfire of the Tasan Party soldiers. The three then followed Sleep Prince into the director's office, listening to Gammon Octo and then Michelle Marlon's explanation of how they were trying to rebuild the world.
After Ma's consciousness suddenly resurfaced from within Alexiel, Gumina was absorbed along with the rest of the contractors. Following Ma's defeat, Gumina separated from the fusion. After Rinne and Alexiel later created a new world with the Re_birthday function, Gumina participated in the ball at the Lucifenian Royal Palace before being presumably incorporated into the Fourth Period.
Legacy[]
After her death, E.L. named the vessel of Lust the "Venom Sword" to express her "thanks" to her. At the end of the incident, the exact number of victims that Venomania had in her harem was unknown. Due to her interactions with the Venom Sword, the children Gumina sired with Mayank and Sateriasis and their descendants gained the potential to develop Hereditary Evil Raiser Syndrome and pass it onto future generations. Her children later led to many famous descendants, including Carlos Conchita, Gast Venom, Germaine Conchita and Gammon Octo.
During her investigation of the incident and its aftermath, Irina Clockworker learned from Cherubim about Gumila and their interactions leading up to the massacre. In the years following the incident, Cherubim continued painting portraits of Gumila at her home in Elphegort, eventually producing dozens of works depicting Duchess Venomania's visage. Earning the moniker as the "Duchess of Lust", Levin followers of the Held sect began spreading word of Sateriasis' demonic deeds. With the Duchess memorialized as a "demon" in myth, devout Levin followers often persecuted those identified as her descendants, such as "The Demon of Asmodean". As time progressed however, the more supernatural elements of the Duchess were deemed fictitious by the late EC 900s.
Despite this, her crimes were still remembered and one criminal, Scherzer, even attempted to mimic the incident Gumila had caused. Less than a century after the Duchess's death, Asmodean became an independent state and Venomania was regarded as a celebrity for the country. As a result, Duchess Venomania became a part of Asmodean culture, such as the Asmodean Emperor deriving several of her powers from the Venomania Duchesss.
Irina Clockworker later passed on her knowledge of Gumina to the historian Will Jaakko, who later compiled a manuscript regarding the vessels of sin. Centuries after the Duchess's death, Yukina Freezis visited the site of her ruined mansion while investigating Will's writings on the Seven Deadly Sins. The novelist later wrote a Freezis Fairy Tale inspired by Venomania's actions, entitled "The Duchess and the Four Men" and became among her more popular works.
Personality and Traits[]
Gumina was a selfish and hedonistic woman. Due to her background, Gumina had a stunted social development and was embittered by the ridicule and abuse she suffered because of her deformity. This bitterness and hatred of her family remained with her even when her memories had been wiped of the cause. As the Demon of Lust encouraged her to behave like a HER, Venomania's bitterness transformed into a complete disrespect for men and life, thinking nothing of brainwashing her harem members and slaughtering countless innocents while masking her bitterness under delusions of grandeur. After being freed of her lust, however, Gumina preferred instead to be chivalrous and helpful to men.
Gumila originally was a quiet, lonely girl who had the self-control to tolerate the abuse he faced. After being scorned by her love, Gumila broke under the pressure and lost control; this loss of control was capitalized on by the Demon of Lust. Its magic made her impulsive and quick to go to extremes, reflected in Gumina' tendency to commit most of his murders as massacres and her rape of men as a large-scale harem; she similarly had trouble controlling her libido and her sexual addiction only increased over time. Fitting this, Gumina' natural cluelessness warped into conceited arrogance and childishness, allowing her to easily be taken by surprise.
Gumina gradually developed an obsession with collecting men as her "Husband," believing herself in love with any beautiful man he met no matter his class, sexuality, or age. Gumina cared little for her husband as individuals, though, save for a few favorites, and was unconcerned with their deaths. Despite this, as her lust grew she deluded herself into believing that she was akin to a god granting men the "love" that they were unable to obtain in their own lives, believing that she would create a utopia of men in love with and loved by her. In the afterlifeGumina maintained a positive view of polygamy and remained fiercely jealous of rivals, although with a harem made up of genuinely-consenting men.
Outwardly, "Gumina" hid her darker nature by appearing a charismatic, kind, and humble duchess. Ironically, when amnesiac about her possession, Gumina was horrified by the depravities she desired and, as Gumila, had been deeply guilty over her massacre of her family. She similarly began her reign as duchess being far more humble and awkward, possibly due to her true background. Because of her abuse, however, she loathed her former identity and personality as Gumila; following her death she stubbornly retained her Gumina identity, albeit much more toned down.
Skills and Abilities[]
Despite being trapped in a basement for part of her life, Venomania was very shrewd; she was extremely successful as the Duchess of Asmodean and well-versed in reading, writing, and, also dancing. With her position of authority, Venomania was a capable actor, portraying herself as a respectful, humble, and kindhearted duchess and that she was as confused about the mysterious disappearances as everyone else. Her influence as one of the Five Dukes, also allowed her to track the progress of the Empire's investigation into the disappearances.
After sealing a contract with the Demon of Lust, Venomania was granted all of the powers of the Venom Sword and the Demon of Lust, particularly in being able to brainwash the opposite sex, manipulate memories, and enact a demonic transformation. Because of her connection to the Demon, Gumina could freely interact with it telepathically, as well as invoke her powers to sense other sources of magical power. However, to keep her powers' potency intact, she was required to constantly have intercourse with and take the life energy of some in her harem. During her tenure as a servant, he was capable in performing the duties required of her. She also had basic knowledge of the Magic Kingdom Levianta and its figures.
Character Connections[]
E.L.: Venomania's partner. While initially bewildered by her sudden appearance and skeptical of her claims, Gumina became amused by E.L.'s secretive nature and what hse perceived as her needless concern. Although genuinely thankful to the mage for interrupting her suicide, she was less enthusiastic with helping her achieve her own goals and expressed more interest in building her harem.
Cherubim Glassred: Venomania's childhood friend and later member of her harem. The Duchess became friends with Cherubim at a young age and fell in love with him. She became devastated when he publicly mocked her and his engagement to Gumila was revealed, this driving her to seal a contract with a demon. Nonetheless, Venomania continued to love him until her death, though her love was warped by her heartbreak and lust.
Sateriasis Octo: A man in Venomania's harem. During her memory loss, the Duchess grew to care greatly for Sateriasis over the time they spent together, initially resisting her lustful urges towards him. She was traumatized by his rejection, however, reminded of Cherubim scorning her, and quickly adopted a more callous attitude towards his well-being and personal life. Brainwashing Sateriasis into her harem, Gumi maintained a false relationship with him and trusted the tailor with helping to manage the other men.
Mayank Beelzenia: A man in Venomania's harem. The duke became fascinated with Mayank' portrait, finding him to be very beautiful, and resolved to seduce him into her harem. She maintained a false relationship with him while he was in her harem.
Rajih Assad: A man in Venomania's harem. The duchess became attracted to Rajih and preferred spending time with him during her time in Mystica, seducing him more subtly over several days. Venomania was disappointed at ultimately having to use the power of Lust on Rajih, having believed that this time it wouldn't be necessary. After he was in her harem she maintained her false relationship with him.
Lilien Turner:: A rival for Rajihs affections. The duchess thought little of Lilien initially, intending to kill her in hierdemon form and not understanding the relationship that she had with his newest victim. Lilien's convictions and love for Rajih reminded her of her own past love for Cherubim.
Kaino Greeonio: A man in Venomania's harem. The duchess seduced Kaino due to his beauty and maintained a false relationship with him in her harem, giving him gifts and treating him with more kindness than his own parents. He was among her chosen "favorites" in her harem.
Yufina Castella: Venomania's murderer. The duchess met Yufina while the latter was disguised as a man and welcomed "him" to her harem, finding "him" to be very handsome. When Yufina stabbed the duchess and revealed herself, Venomania was deeply shocked.
Gumina Venomania: Venomania's younger sister. Although very close to Gumina in childhood, Gumila became envious of Sateriasis' beautiful face and popularity, which was cemented into hate when Cherubim rejected her. Before regaining her memories, Gumina believed herself to be her sister and, even after regaining her memories again, preferred to keep her Gumina identity over her own.
