Kio Beelzenia was the Third Prince of the Beelzenian Empire and one of Duchess Lukana Venomania's many victims. In response to the number of disappearing men in the Empire, Kio employed several agents to investigate, including Count Yufina Castella, and tracked their progress.
History[]
Early Life[]
Born in EC 114 as the youngest son of Emperor Jupitaire Beelzenia, Kio was spoiled by his father and grew up lavishly in the imperial palace as the Third Prince of the Beelzenian Empire, meeting Prince Karchess Marlon around the time he was betrothed and married to Kio' sister, Princess Aprilis Beelzenia. He eventually began helping manage the empire's territories. During this time, he met and became disturbed by the ogling Marquis Ferdinand.
Venomania Event[]
In EC 136, Kio happened to fill in for Febria in listening to a report from Marquis Claster Glassred. Learning of the Venomania Family massacre and the subsequent disappearances of several men, Kio became interested and launched a secret investigation. He then ordered Claster to look into the matter and use his resources at his disposal; he also assigned Tae to handle all the investigation reports.
When King Karchess and Queen Aprilis visited the imperial palace in March of EC 136, Kio joined his brothers Janus and Martius in welcoming them in the throne room, immediately greeting Karchess. Seeing Karchess look unhappy with his wife, he insisted on giving him a tour around the palace to get him away from the others, comforting him over his dissatisfaction with his arranged marriage. As they talked, Tae Conchita interrupted the men and, although hesitant in Karchess's presence, reported to Kio that Claster Glassred had gone mad.
Kio listened in shock as he explained the marquis' household was massacred and his son disappeared, finishing that they would likely need someone to replace him in the investigation. Kio and Tae then discussed the possibility of assigning Duchess Lukana Venomania, Kio expressing his worry of pushing him too hard due to the similar massacre of his family. When Marquis Ferdinand was suggested instead, Kio reluctantly agreed and Tae left to arrange his appointment. Kio then spoke with Karchess and learned of his future tour to meet the Five Dukes of Beelzenia, advising him to visit Asmodean only briefly due to the danger. They then continued on their tour of the palace.
Afterwards, Kio had Marquis Ferdinand begin investigating the disappearances in Claster's stead. When the Donald estate was attacked and Karchess went missing as well, Kio began taking the matter more seriously. Following the disappearance of Rajih Assad and the murder of Marquis Ferdinand, both being from Mystica, Kio reasoned that the culprit was one and the same.
Later on, he received a report from his spy, Neruneru Nerune, who had inconclusive results. Asking Tae how Martius was, the girl having gone back to Marlon, Tae replied that he was considering hiring Elluka Clockworker. Not believing in magic, Kio brushed him off and expressed his frustration with there being no one left to work with; Tae then replied he had someone in mind, bringing Yufina Castella into the room.
Soon after, Yufina told Kio of her affair with Karchess, Kio being entertained by her actions. He then allowed Yufina to help with their investigation, giving her all the documents they had. As the reports included information about Karchess's disappearance, Kio cautioned her to treat them with discretion. Once Yufina left the room, Kio continued laughing about the affair, although agreeing to keep it a secret from Martius after being advised so by Tae.
Confronting the Culprit[]
Later on, Neruneru directly requested a private audience with Kioto share a new fact about the investigation, although with no chance of that happening gave up and went back to Asmodean. Kio, feeling that it was important, and wanting to sneak out of the castle anyway, slipped out of the palace and traveled to Asmodean.
Meeting up with Neruneru at a bar on the outskirts of Lasaland, Kio made small talk with Neruneru before asking her to share her new finding. With Neruneru instead advising him to go to Duchess Venomania's mansion himself for the information, Kio became suspicious, but ultimately decided to go.
At the Duchess's mansion, Kio was welcomed inside by the Duchess, who strangely said she wanted to take him as her husband. Kio then accused Venomania of being the culprit, surprised that she admitted to it despite his bluff. As he argued with Venomania over her delusional justifications for her abductions, Kio was ultimately put under the Duchess's Lust spell, becoming the eighteenth member of her harem. While in her harem, Kio have a daughter with her.
Later Life[]
When the disguised Yufina successfully stabbed the duchess, Kio broke free of her spell and fled the mansion with his daughter the others. While his family demanded he dispose the child, Kio refused; as Emperor Jupitaire refused to include the baby as part of the family, he gave the baby girl to Tae and his wife to raise as their own.
Afterlife[]
Following his death, Kio' soul was sent to the Heavenly Yard and remained there with his family and friends; over the centuries, he heard tales of his later descendants such as the cannibal Carlos Conchita. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard. Afterward, the conflicted prince returned to Duchess Venomania's mansion in Lasaland and agreed to rejoin Lukana' harem along with Mike, Cherubim, and Sateriasis. Some time after, the Master of the Hellish Yard visited and took Venomania back to the bowels of the Hellish Yard.
Legacy[]
Kio and the Duchess's resulting bloodline survived as part of the Conchita Family, eventually producing Carlos Conchita, who later became famed for his contributions to Beelzenian culture and society as both "Gourmet Noble Carlos" and "Evil Food Eater Conchita".

Kita took a quick likening to Karchess, sympathizing with his disinterest in his sister Aprilis and relating to him plight with the knowledge that he too would be arranged to be married off one day. As such, he was concerned for the king's welfare as he toured to meet the Five Dukes and wished his well before him kidnapping.
Yufina Castella: Kio' agent. Kio trusted Yufina with investigating the disappearances of the men in Beelzenia due to Tae Conchita's recommendation, however he expressed disinterest in her later results.
