The Evillious Chronicles Wiki

This is a fanmade article

Behemo Barisol was one of the four gods in the Evillious universe. After opposing the sun god's decision for their third paradise, he was sealed inside Sin and plotted to destroy the Third Period along with his alleged sister, Levia Barisol. He became worshiped as one of the gods of the Levin religion. Once they escaped from the ark centuries later, Levia and Behemo incarnated in the corpse of Elluka Chirclatia.

History[]

Early Life[]

Behemo Barisol was born in the Second Period, as the product of an affair between Marie Barisol and one of her many lovers. At the age of six, he attended a university to study the mind, eventually graduating to become a psychiatrist at Sickle Yggdra's clinic and research institute in Russia, studying abnormal behavior and Hereditary Evil Raiser Syndrome in particular. During his studies, the young researcher learned that "malice" wasn't originally from their world. At some point, Rahab also instructed Behemo in the Mind Type of the Swap Technique developed by Sickle.

As the Second Period began to fall due to the rampant spread of HER Syndrome, Behemo was among the scientists selected to board the Climb One, one of several ships meant to find inhabitable planets for repopulation. Suffering murderous impulses from malice, Behemo consulted with a physicist, a living mask Luna Twiright, on how to cure himself. Luna suggested he kill himself from an alternate reality.

Behemo then made contact with the First Period, believing it to be a parallel world. As he prepared to kill a female version of himself, Levia Barisol, he realized that Luna was trying to get him to succumb to malice by committing murder in order to take his place on the Climb One. Behemo instead rescued Levia from her reality, returning to the Second Period by the work of the First Period developers.

He and Levia then became coworkers at Sickle's facility. Later, the two escaped the world's destruction on the Climb One with 70 other scientists. During the trip, Behemo designed a "Type L" variant of Black Box that could move one's spirit data into another body, albeit only with the consensus of all the members of the ship. As they lost contact with all their fellow spaceships, the crew of the Climb One realized they were the last inhabitants of Earth and decided to create a new species in the image of earthlings, Behemo in charge of creating its souls.

After finding a new planet to inhabit, they set about constructing the new world and species. During this Luna, who had secretly boarded the Climb One, instigated the deaths of 62 of the crew members and contaminated the new species to have a possibility of developing HER Syndrome. Behemo preserved the spirit data of the dead crew members and the grieving Sickle arranged for them to be reincarnated as forest spirits in the new world. The remaining crew, including Behemo, proposed they reincarnate as gods into the world to guide the humans, unaware that at least Behemo was a HER.

Behemo furthermore designed the Hellish Yard as a means to sort between HERs and good souls. When Sickle and another crew member, Seth Hazuki, disagreed with the plan, Behemo joined the others in trying to kill them to regain crew consensus and allow them to use the Black Box Type L. This caused the Climb One to crash and kill everyone on board, leaving only their spirit data behind; although Behemo and Levia planned to escape by transferring their spirits into the body of a dragon on the ship, Sickle and Seth had sabotaged the plan beforehand.

Behemo and his colleagues remained trapped in the Climb One for some time while the new species of humans began building their societies. Around this time, they forgot the existence of Seth. Eventually, the humans of Magic Kingdom Levianta discovered the Climb One, and both Behemo and Levia began whispering to Alice Merry-Go-Round, establishing her as a prophet and themselves as gods, with a lofty account of the Third Period's creation. The two became worshiped in the new Levin faith and a temple was built around the Climb One, renamed the "Sin" ark.

False Gods[]

While establishing themselves as deities, the earthlings came in contact with Luna Twiright, who had had reincarnated as a human and later become a scientist in the new Magic Kingdom Levianta; having succumbed to her HER Syndrome, Behemo and the others plotted with him to destroy the Third Period. As Luna refused to move them into new bodies, Behemo and Levia also plotted to make proper bodies for themselves, planning to make them with earthling DNA so that they could use Black Box Type L and move them out of the Sin.

In BT 005 the two "gods", acting as Alice's parents, told her that they would destroy the world if their worshipers didn't cleanse the ark Sin by creating human vessels for them. Prophet Merry-Go-Round shared the twin gods' lies with the nation and started Project 'Ma' to create suitable twin vessels for them to inhabit; its second project finally produced the twins Hänsel and Gretel on December 27, EC 0, only for the mother Eve Zvezda to flee with the twins shortly after. As Project 'Ma' faced continual failure over the years, Behemo and Levia grew impatient.

After Irina Clockworker witnessed her fiancée Kiril murder his sister Elluka Chirclatia in EC 013, the twin gods decided to entice the woman to free them from Sin in their dragon body, unwilling to wait for their bodies to grow up and knowing that, as a clone of Luna's human form, Irina could use Black Box Type L. Impersonating Elluka, Levia enticed Kiril to take Elluka's corpse to Black Box within the Sin under the pretense of resurrecting her.

After Kiril used the Clockwork Secret Art to restore the aged device, he used the black box. Before Levia and Behemo could transfer into the dragon body, however, the mindless beast grew violent and destroyed the ark, and the black box transferred Levia and Behemo into Elluka's corpse instead before it exploded from misuse.

Eternal Sorceress[]

Once incarnated into Elluka Chirclatia's corpse, Levia became the active consciousness while Behemo slumbered in the subconscious. Believing herself to be the real Elluka, the reincarnated Levia awoke to the destroyed Levianta and became consumed with grief. "Elluka Clockworker" met with Sickle a few years later and was tasked with collecting the vessels of sin, accepting the quest to pass her "newfound" immortality.

Over the centuries, Elluka traveled across Evillious, helping anyone in need that she came across and getting involved with the Venomania Event, the Disappearance of Evil Food Eater Conchita, the Lucifenian Expansion War, and Alexiel's evil reign. During the latter period, she incarnated Sickle's forest spirits Kyle and Gast as humans, training the latter as her apprentice.

Elluka and Gast continued the search for the vessels of sin across the continent while pursuing Irina who was also seeking the vessels. After Elluka confronted Meta Moonlit and forced the witch's spirit into her own, her memories as Levia reawakened. In denial of her true nature, Elluka continued pursuing the red cat mage Kiril Clockworker and eventually dueled her at Merrigod Plateau on January 30, EC 611. After Kiril activated her Black Box Type S during the duel, Behemo and Levia were transported into Behemo's own inner psychological world.

Confronting Reality[]

Manifesting in her original form, Behemo ascended the stairs of the illusory Leviantan temple before him and found at the top Kiril, Gast, Levia, and Meta in their original forms before the ark Sin. Unable to deny his true identity any longer, Behemo lowered his head in silence while Kiril directed Gast to him. After confirming to Gast that he had regained all of his memories, Behemo moved towards the Sin and learned from Kiril how they were only in his own inner psychological world due to the device built by Luna.

After musing on this, Behemo questioned Kiril and learned how the mage had figured out he wasn't the real Elluka, owing it to several factors over the years. He and Kiril fell to discussing how Sickle had known his true identity immediately and sought to keep him from finding out; realizing Gast had been made her "apprentice" to monitor him, Behemo confirmed this with Gast himrself and learned how his true purpose was to help seal Behemo and Levia away again.

After comforting Gast, who burst into tears admitting the truth, Behemo questioned him further and learned the trick Sickle undertook to prevent Gast and Kyle from losing their memories with their reincarnation. Behemo then returned to Kiril, who brought up more reasons why it would have been impossible for Behemo to have been the real Elluka, including knowing the Swap Technique, and finally admitted that Luna had told him after she became the Demon of Wrath. Behemo then watched as Kiril revealed how he had experimented with Meta inside the Clockworker's Doll, giving Meta the ability to summon them all to the Court.

After they were all summoned to the "Court", a realm of judgment that equalized everyone and made it possible to kill gods, Kiril challenged Behemo and Levia to continue their duel. Behemo soon after had to, embarrassed, introduce the crossdressing Levia to Gast. When Kiril eventually prepared to resume the fighting, the five of them were interrupted by the Demon of Gluttony. The duel then began; as Kiril, Behemo, and the demon's magic all clashed, the resulting blast caused Behemo, Kiril, and Meta's souls to fuse together into one.

Fa[]

The resulting amalgamation between Behemo, Kiril, and Meta became Fa; like Elluka Clockworker before him, Fa traveled through Evillious helping people and becoming involved in many historical events, including the Enbizaka Murderer Scandal perpetrated by Gakuga Sudou. Later in his life, Fa decided to become "pure" to avoid the destruction of the world. As part of this, he began absorbing the demons of sin using the Swap Technique, as well as purging himself of his other consciousnesses. When Fa had an affair with Michelle Marlon and conceived a son, Nyoze, he used the baby as a receptacle for Behemo's soul.

Hellish Assassin[]

Inside Nyoze's body, Behemo lost all of his memories as per the rules of reincarnation. Growing up abandon by his father and life with her mother, Over time, Nyoze took up a life of crime in a gang called "Zeus", until he was eventually arrested and became an assassin for PN. When he was assigned to kill her lover, Nemesis Octo, Nyoze went down a path that led to her becoming the dictator of Elphegort. In EC 999, Führer Nyoze used the weapon Punishment to destroy the world; although he survived the blast, Behemo's spirit was expelled from his body.

World's Ends[]

As the destroyed world merged with the Hellish Yard, the disembodied Behemo shut off from reality and deluded himself into believing that he was still a psychiatrist working in the collapsing Second Period, constructing around herself an illusion of Sickle Yggdra's old research clinic. Under the illusion of finishing up some work in the clinic one late December night, Behemo was shocked to find an intruder in his office.

After the intruder requested him help as a psychiatrist, with several other intruders breaking in elsewhere in the facility, Behemo listened to her request: that he tell her what kind of life Nyoze Sudou led, the man having been brought in as a catatonic body with a revolver that he had shot six people with. As Nyoze was unable to speak with him, Behemo was forced to use the Mind Swap Technique to fulfill the request. While he set up the procedure, the disguised Arina introduced herself as Postman.

Behemo then activated the Swap with the Black Box and, over a series of hour-long periods, looked at Nyoze's memories of the people he killed, including Bruno Zero, Nikolay Tolle, Nemesis Octo, Tony Ausdin, Michelle Marlon, and Pa, becoming increasingly perplexed as Nyoze' surroundings in Evillious clashed with the reality he was familiar with in the Second Period. Rushing to see the full story near the end, Behemo exited from a final memory and told Postman what he had learned about Nyoze' life and character. He then claimed the specific memories were false due to the fantastic elements he saw within them.

"Postman", revealing herself as Arina Avadonia, insisted that they were the truth and that he was the one living in a delusion. As Behemo protested, finally admitting he didn't want to know the truth, Arina input an "irregular system" in the black box that forced Behemo to look back on his own life. Regaining all of his memories of the Third Period, Behemo at last returned to his body and his consciousness as Nyoze Sudou was restored.

Following his physical body's death as "Nyoze Sudou" and Arina and Alexiel's subsequent creation of the Fourth Period, Behemo, inside the Clockworker's Doll, participated in the ball at the Lucifenian Royal Palace before being incorporated into the Fourth Period, where he became one of the members of the "Evillious" SNS group chat, commenting on the state of the new world.

Legacy[]

Behemo continued to be worshiped in the Levin faith, a cult faction believing that the Magic Kingdom was destroyed because the Leviantans turned away from their teachings after they were supposedly saved when Eve Zhezda birthed the incarnated twin gods.

Personality and Traits[]

Being both eccentric and serious, both dedicated and yet slow to accept harsh truths, Behemo was a contradictory man. Growing up in the Second Period, Behemo was extremely precocious and studious, going to college at the age of six, and was relatively motivated as a psychiatrist. As part of this, he was diligent in asking people questions when speaking with them. Similarly, he conducted herself in a serious and businesslike manner, embarrassed by the members of his family that didn't observe propriety, and put his energies into seeing his projects to the end. Particularly as the end of the Second Period approached, he was also always on guard to protect himself.

Despite this serious attitude and detail to his work, Behemo himself was lackadaisical and considered a bit of an eccentric, described as "hysterical" by at least one of his coworkers. Accompanying this, he had a tendency to ignore or deny reality when it became too difficult to bear, preferring to flee or construct comforting lies rather than face his problems head-on. This trait in particular was carried over, in one way or another, to all of her other identities as Elluka, Pa, or Nyoze.

After becoming infected with HER, Behemo was also gradually overcome with a desire for destruction, albeit always using some pretense to justify it. He similarly began to have no scruple against manipulating and harming others to achieve his ends, hid malice even influencing him reincarnation Nyoze. When not being influenced by HER, however, Behemo showed regret and even shame for the destruction he achieved.

Skills and Abilities[]

Behemo was knowledgeable in the creation and study of the mind, being a trained psychiatrist and child prodigy. He also, in the Second Period, had some skill with firearms. After becoming a god, Behemo was an ageless immortal and automatically reincarnated after death. Despite this, he was still subject to the rules of the Third Period set by Held; regardless, he was free to move between worlds without any hazard. Following his incarnation as Elluka Clockworker, Behemo possessed the memories and knowledge of Elluka Chirclatia and later Meta Moonlit.

Behemo also possessed great magical power, becoming an expert with the reincarnation arts. He could also use the powerful Body Swap Technique, allowing his to move or transfer him or another soul into another body or object. He could also communicate with a select few humans while sealed inside Sin; Behemo could also change his voice to impersonate another person. Aside from this, Behemo possessed general knowledge about the workings of Second Period technology and was able to operate it, being one of the few capable of working a Black Box's Mind Swap Technique, while also able to make his own additions to the Black Box.

Character Connections[]

Levia Barisol: Behemo's real world counterpart. Knowing her tBehemo is parallel world se, Behemo initially saved her, althoughBehemo g to dislike Levia over time. He was thus opposed to her embarrassing crossdressing habits, preferring not to spend time with hrr. Despite hs, he was willing to work with his "sister" over the course of his rebellion aainst Held, but continued to consider her an embarrassment after they were both freed from Elluka.

Seth Hazuki: A fellow earthling. Although originally fine with working with Hazuki as a colleague, Behemo became resentful of his philosophy to let the humans work things out for themselves and caused chaos in the Third Period because of this.

Sickle Yggdra: A fellow earthling. Behemo worked with Sickle reasonably well, although as his employer he was often exhausted by his strictness. Despite him resentment over Sickle's alliance with Hazuki and his attempts to kill him that followed them, Behemo's memories of his friendship with Sickle were strong enough that he even recalled them as Elluka, although still irritated with his behavior at times.

Nyoze Sudou: A reincarnation of Behemo. Behemo's nature as a HER subconsciously influenced Nyoze; after being separated from his body, Behemo preferred to hide himself from the truth of what he did as Nyoze. Eventually his soul and body reconciled when he was confronted with the full truth, and Behemo returned to identifying as the man.

Kyla Arklow: An acquaintance of Behemo's. After moving to Russia, Kyla became one of his assistants.

Gast: An acquaintance of Behemo's. Initially knowing him as one of his assistants, Behemo got much closer to Gast over her time as "Elluka Clockworker" and considered his a dear friend. As a result, even after gaining his memories back Behemo didn't hold anything against the boy for her true role in their relationship, understanding how hard it was for Gast.

Marie Barisol:Behemo's mother. Behemo worked with his mother as colleagues, even receiving from her instruction in the Swap Technique. Despite this, he was embarrassed by his mother's promiscuous habits and preferred not to spend time with him, as well as later showing clear resentment towards Rahab as a mother while part of the entity Ma.
