Ma Survival is pretty vague even with the PV. I'm going to interpret it to mean that Elluka is the first person she personally killed with her own hands. She could have killed Ly Li and Milky Eights by leading them into a dangerous situation that she knew would kill them or by traps. Maybe Milky really did commit suicide but the true reason why was because of Irina. There are tons of possibilities. The point being that Irina probably considers the murder of Elluka to be her first true act of murder.
Milky is shown being strangled by the rope which Irina then hoists her up with, so it's unlikely she actually did commit suicide. Still true though, whether Irina killed them herself or orchestrated their deaths with traps, their deaths were far less physically personal than Elluka's.
Can somebody else make a complete summary of the novel? If I do it, I will probably finish reading late since I read very slowly. I also feel like I am losing interest in the novel since I already read character pages and know what will happen.
I'd be willing to write the summary if RadiantHope doesn't want to. It might take me a little bit to get it done after Price finishes, but I'd probably be able to finish it after a day or so. I can actually start writing a bit of it now using the prologue and the first three chapters she's done so far if you guys want me to.
I finished writing a rough draft of the summary for the prologue and first chapter if anyone wants to look that over and help me size it down or add anything I should. I know it's a bit verbose, but I wanted to start big so I could cut it down >.<. I put it in my Sandbox.
From the latest 2 scenes translated, there's a lot of info to dissect, but one catches my eyes.
Witnis Truth (who we are now very sure is in fact Cherubim's guard after years of thinking they were separate people) mentions he's only literate because his ex-wife worked with medicine. It's also noted he is old, therefore, so would his wife.
Then the very next scene, talks about the elderly Annlee Sweets, a former doctor, being added to the harem.
I think since the mention of his ex-wife working with medicine is oddly specific and followed up with the mention of someone fitting that description pretty much exactly, it's a direct implication Annlee is his ex-wife.
On a more relevant note, Eve talks in the newest scene.
She claims to be an associate of Gilles, introduces herself as Mikulia to Mikulia then decides to be called "Demon Mikulia". She's been sentient the whole time Mikulia's had the doll but hasn't bothered to say anything up till now. Also the doll's lips moves, and there's really no cue, at least to me, to suggest it's an illusion (either mothy hadn't thought of that mechanic at the time, just didn't hint at it, or maybe the doll just... does that. No specific mention of a jaw hinge like some dolls have.)
Mikulia's grandmother lived to be 100, and it was then she moved to Mikulia as a host. Eve claims she never actively did anything to either of them.
Then Eve says something about IR at first believing Mikulia being Held sect stopped Veno's spell from affecting her, and Eve says while it's not incorrect, it wouldn't have full-stopped the spell like her own "demonic" influence did.
That Held sect thing matches the report's note that there's one religious sect in particular accusing Venomania of being the culprit--so it's likely the Held sect is afforded a little protection from demonic magic (maybe just the memory-wiping ritual.) Could be a "blessing" thing like how Michaela was able to give blessings to protect Clarith and Josephine from Gift.
In Chapter 6 Scene 1, Venomania says Lolan died because she had weak spiritual energy. Then says It was weak because she was a lesbian. So is there any connection between sexual preferences and spiritual energy?
Spiritual energy is part of your overall vitality (like, life-force), and it's part of your magical energy (hence why Lukana's is strong). Being under the effects of heavy magical influence apparently weakens your spiritual energy. In essence, Lolan's energy was weak because the demon was exerting so much more power over her than the other women in order to keep her true sexuality suppressed.
Could we add to Leuno Dino's section that he's possibly represented by Leon? Their names are similar, Leuno could be a reference to Leon being the first Vocaloid, and this is the Lust arc where there's a precedent for minor characters being represented by Vocaloids.
So while I tried to dig for information about the real sateriasis, I noticed that they say that cherubim wasn't born nameless, Ilotte took his name away when he decided to lock him away, and when he was given the name Cherubim he wasn't allowed a surname. Despite that the mothy album credits him as "Cherubim Venomania" so it seems most likely that Cherubim Venomania was his birthname, and Ilotte gave "Cherubim" back to him when he became a servant.
Ilotte's second wife is explicitly stated to have green hair yet her icon on the minor characters page is red haired. Who ever that woman is, she isn't Ilotte's wife.
I would not say that calling him "Cherubim Venomania" in the mothy album is enough evidence to say that it was his birth name. From the way characters talk about it (like Witnis), his original name was lost and Cherubim is entirely new.
Also, as for the wife on the minor character's page, her hair is only red because it's a cropped image taken from a portrait that is entirely filtered in red.
Yeah it's entirely possible that Cherubim Venomania was his name after he was let out of the basement. Which, it's surprising that he even got to have his last name, but still. Maybe Sateriasis insisted on it even if Cherubim didn't get to have his inheritance.
I'm on the fence about what we should say about Annlee Sweets. Would it be so unprofessional if in a minor character page we say "his wife, possibly referring to Annlee Sweets, was a doctor"? or something like that.
As per PriceCheck's post, it seems that the entire Lunacy novel does take place within EC 136, which means our information that Karchess killed Venomania the following year is incorrect. Any help in correcting this would be very much appreciated.
