Not to start up ANOTHER discussion as we're already having a wide range of them, but I wanted to suggest using tabs in regards to dividing up pages wherein a character has distinctly different identities yet is still the same fundamental person and thus those identities cannot be divided up into separate articles entirely.
I wanted it to be on a different thread because it's not going to be applicable to all characters (in fact there are only a handful to which it does apply) and it's not about length, really.
Basically, we have a lot of characters who go through different identities in the series. This is just how it is. However, some of those characters, like Eve, can have their different identities split off into different articles because these identities come with their own personality and different set of memories (caused by the whole reincarnation rule thing). Some of them, however, like Irina, can not, because despite going by a different name and appearance she is the same person with the same memories. This leads to such characters having extraordinarily long articles wherein they were referred to by many names and they only get one of the many appearances they are known by as their character avatar.
My suggestion is we introduce tabs as a means of dividing these identities so that these articles are better organized and less confusing. This will also take into account character development between identities.
So this process would have several qualifiers to it:
1. The new identity's name has to be something that they are referred to both out and in universe.
2. The must either have the same memories as their previous identity OR their memory loss is an issue of amnesia rather than having them wiped by Sickle's "reincarnation" rules like with Eve or Levia and Elluka.
3. They have a different physical form that accompanies this change in identity.
Some characters for which I think we can use this for:
-Irina (IR, ABC-IR, Abyss IR, Julia)
-Elluka (Hanne, --other identities don't go by a different name but they do have different bodies so that might be up for discussion?)
-Venomania (Cherubim)
-Banica (The Demon of Gluttony, and possibly Master of the Graveyard when we find out exactly their connection with each other)
-Michaela (while she doesn't have an issue of going through different names, she does also go through distinct identity changes with being a forest spirit, to being a human, to becoming the new Millenium Tree)
-Kaidor (Bruno)
I'm sure there are others, but I'm not sure they fit in as neatly for the stipulations I have provided.
