Screws, Gears, and Pride is a song by Akuno-P and uniMemo-P released on August 10, 2009. It was the second collaborative song between the two producers and much like the first one this one focuses on the meeting of two "Rins". It is also the fourteenth song in the Clockwork Lullaby Series.
Plot[]
The song takes place in a toy factory. A defect doll assigned serial number BMD2-R is left in the garbage disposal on floor 43 because she differs from the others like her model. Not wanting to be destroyed, she calls out for the other toys to help her flee, the only toy that listens to her is another defect doll of the same model as her, serial number SN7F-R. Not wanting the "irregulars" to escape, the C factory corporation unleashes a weapon made by "I Company" named G to get rid of them. Whilst fleeing, they run into another toy who resembles them, TYPE-L. He congratulates them on managing to escape the garbage disposal, wishing them well and hoping that they make it out and learn of the outside world, but then encourages them to run as G is still chasing after them.[1]

- C Factory is a reference to Kagamine Rin & Len's developer, Crypton Future Media, Inc., and the I company that developed G is a reference to Camui Gackpo's developer, Internet Co., Ltd.
- In TYPE-L's refrain, he sings to the same tune as Beethoven's Symphony No. 9. The mysterious singer does something similar in Wordplay.
- Though there is nothing that visibly connects the song to the Clockwork Lullaby Series, mothy listed it as "Clockwork Lullaby A" in a list of all of his songs.[2]
- In Evils Forest, Ma's commentary on the song notes it as taking place in a "parallel world" to that of the Evillious Chronicles.[3]
- In-universe, "Type-L" is the designation of a kind of Black Box invented by Levia Barisol.[4]
