As far as I'm aware, the wiki doesn't have a single established method of romanization (which might very well be something it should choose - as is, it seems to use something very similar to a kana based or waapuro system). That being said, I don't agree with the romanization of "スィ" as "si" because, to the average English reader, that creates a pronunciation of either "see" or "sigh". I've only ever heard this pronounced as a "swi" sound.
I'd advise the wiki to choose a standard method of romanization and stick with it, but for this particular issue, I'd recommend using "swi" (like "sweet") because スィート (sweet) is pronounced with a "swi" sound and not a "si" sound.
I hope you don't mind me asking, you're probab;y busy with other stuff and this is probably a stupid question, but I'm just wondering if there's anything specific that you're working on here and need some assistance or a disambugation page that could direct me to things that need to be done? So far, I haven't really found one. I have been an Evillious fan for a couple of years so I've got a lot to add if needed, and I've worked on various other wikis so I can most likely handle any odd jobs around.
Hello! There’s the “WIP Articles” category; that’s where the pages that haven’t been fully updated are. The thing that needs working on the most, I think, is removing any mention that the gods invented magic tools.
Hello! I wanted to let you know the reason I added Anne, Inukichi, Hel, and Nyoze to certain vocaloid categories! Here ( https://twitter.com/mothy_akuno/status/1016753176387641344 ) mothy tweeted his wip of working on Song of the Third Period, which had characters listed which were translated to be, in order, Michaela, Arte, Lukana, Mei, Clarith, Inukichi, Germaine, Gumillia, Mikulia, Hel, Anne, Kyle, Pollo, and Nyoze. The ones I changed are the same case as Behemo and Levia, so I don't see why they shouldn't be considered to be represented by the vocaloids they are shown to be voiced by? Thank you in advance for your time! (Also yeah I did mess up and put Anne as Len, but that was just a mistype -_-)
Hi. To address your point, I don’t think Anne, Hel and Inukichi are the same case as Behemo and Levia. There is nothing tying them to any Rin, Luka or Len characters appearance or plot-wise. This is opposed to Levia and Behemo, whose clones are Kagamines. Behemo is also noted as resembling Kokutan. However, for Anne, Hel and Inukichi, nothing in the narration states that they look like any existing Rin, Luka or Len characters.
Ah, that's fair, yes, but then what about Elluka Chirclatia? She doesn't typically resemble Luka but is still listed as a Luka due to being voiced by Luka? Same with MA, although I recognize there's more leniance with her since she formerly had Lukana's body
There is plot significance to Elluka and Ma being Luka characters. Way back before we knew that Elluka Chirclatia and Elluka Clockworker were different people, Elluka Chirclatia was viewed as being a Luka character because she would one day be the Elluka we know from Daughter of Evil in Lukana's body, and that connection is still important since Elluka Clockworker being a different person entirely is a twist (and, also, Elluka Clockworker the Luka character inhabits her body all the same). Ma, similarly, previously inhabited Lukana Octo's body and has a connection to Elluka Clockworker, to a point that for a long time viewers were led to believe that she was the same person.
Basically, it's the difference between mothy making a conscious choice to connect the characters in some way and just, using any Vocaloid for them that might happen to fit just so they can have singing lines.
For example, Anne being voiced by Rin and Mariam being voiced by MAYU. We already know that the characters are based on Sweet Ann and Miriam, but the songs featuring them used different Vocaloids presumably because Sweet Ann is an English vocaloid and Miriam isn't available anymore, not because mothy necessarily wants to say that Mariam is a Mayu or Anne a Rin character.
For now, that's the assumption for the "non-Vocaloid" characters that mothy has voiced with Vocaloids. Presumably it's just because they wouldn't get to have lines if he didn't do that.
Of course, this is all a result of mothy beginning the series as a purely Vocaloid thing where every character is based on one of the different Vocaloids ala Hitoshizuku-P's works, and then playing faster and looser with it with each novel installment, but this is what we're going with until we probably inevitably decide to drop the "represented by X" thing entirely and just make it "voiced by" or something.
is that what we needed to add to keep the paragraphs from merging with the quotes when we do edits? qwq
That policy doesn't clarify a lot, we also have some minor writing guidelines if you want to add to pages. In addition: Consider consulting an admin before you make big changes to a page, don't make or delete a page without giving a heads-up to make sure it's appropriate, and it's generally a good idea to try to keep abreast of forum discussions to know what needs to be done around here and how we plan to do it.
the current image on its article is dark, sort of noisy, and has some overlay from the onscreen quote, but I uploaded a cleaner HQ version. Didn't want to add it to meet with your disapproval without checking first.
Alright, let's see if you can do Irina. I'd like you to read the Writing Style Guidelines first. After that, make a copy of Irina's page on your Sandbox then start editing that copy. Does that sound doable?
You're on the right track in terms of information. However, you're going to have to put the new information on **Irina's page**, not Master of the Court's, since by this time Irina has already regained her past memories.
If the task is too big for you, let me know and I'll give you an easier one.
