This is a list of minor characters that have appeared or are mentioned in passing in The Daughter of Evil Series, including in its songs, light novels, manga, or other related media.

Aceid Innkeeper

The owner of the inn in Aceid's Central District. Born sometime in 5th century EC, he and his wife moved to Aceid to make a living by operating a small inn and selling Rollam bird feathers. Every month, a servant of Keel Freezis would visit to buy feathers. Due to discrimination by the native Elphe, business was very difficult. The innkeeper and his wife helped raise Ayn after his mother died, taking the role of his father, and they became very close.

In EC 499, Ayn visited the couple and they agreed to house Clarith and Michaela for him after they paid for accommodations. After the two women had stayed at the inn for a week, the innkeeper and Michaela had tea and talked about Keel, Michaela having the idea for her and Clarith to work for him.

During the six months after the girls left, the man had gotten noticeably thinner and adopted an orphaned child. After six months, Michaela visited the couple again and they caught up about how their respective work had gone. While she and his wife were talking, the orphaned child entered the room and Michaela soon offered to sing for him, all of them going out to the city square to listen to her song.

Aceid Innkeeper's Wife

The wife of the innkeeper in Aceid's Central District and the midwife of Ayn. Born sometime in 5th century EC, she worked as the midwife of the Yatski chieftain's wife, helping deliver their son Ayn. Raising the boy following his mother's death, the two eventually became close. She and her husband later moved to Aceid to make a living by operating a small inn and selling Rollam bird feathers, although struggling in their business due to discrimination from the native Elphes.

After the wife served as midwife to Mikina Freezis' children, a servant from the Freezis Mansion would visit the inn every month to buy feathers. In EC 499, Ayn visited the couple and they agreed to house Clarith and Michaela for him after they paid for accommodations. After the two women had stayed at the inn for a week, the woman counted coins while listening to her husband speak to Michaela about Keel, Michaela having the idea for her and Clarith to work for him. The next day, Mikina Freezis arrived to buy feathers herself, to the surprise of the missus, and she later watched Mikina and Michaela converse.

After six months, Michaela visited the couple again and they caught up about how their respective work had gone. While the woman and Michaela chatted, an orphaned child entered the room and she explained how the child's parents had died from the Gula plague, leading to them adopting him. After introducing Michaela and the child, and after Michaela offered to sing to him, the wife suggested Michaela sing in the city square. She and her husband followed the two to the square in central Aceid to listen to her song.

Alma

Alma was a villager from Yatski in the Kingdom of Elphegort. She followed Chelsea around as one of her "henchmen". During the Green Hunting, she was killed by the Lucifenian army for her green hair.

Asan

Asan was a servant of the Lucifenian Royal Palace. Asan was born in the EC 480s, becoming a servant under the regime of Princess Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche while his older brother became involved in politics. In early EC 500, Asan's brother was sent to the guillotine for speaking in opposition of Princess Riliane. Afterwards, Asan began to plot vengeance on Riliane. After stealing one of Riliane's knives from the dining hall while he set the table, he attended to his cleaning duties in the Hall of Sounds.

Once Riliane burst back into the hall, screaming at Minis about her food and tableware, Asan yelled and attacked the Princess, only to be hit by his fellow servant, Allen Avadonia. Asan tried to attack Riliane again but Allen quickly dissarmed him and struck him in the rib-cage, knocking the boy to his knees. The Princess recovered from the initial shock and ordered the guards to arrest Asan. He was beheaded the next day, while an investigation was carried out on his possible motives.

Following his death, Asan was sent to the Heavenly Yard and remained there. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard. Afterward, he returned to his servant duties at the palace; there he helped with the preparations for Princess Riliane's dinner party in the Hall of Mirrors, along with his fellow servant, Olten.

Avadonia (brother)

The younger brother of Leonhart Avadonia. Born to the Avadonia Family in the Beelzenian Empire sometime after EC 462, he grew up alongside his older brother. In the early 470s, he joined the imperial army as Leonhart instead defected to Lucifenia. Pursuing him in disguise along with four of his fellow men, Leonhart promptly killed all five. Immediately after his death, his disguise was removed by his killer, and to his horror found his own little brother among the casualties.

Barbara

Barbara was a villager from Yatski in the Kingdom of Elphegort. She followed Chelsea around as one of her "henchmen". During the Green Hunting, she was killed by the Lucifenian army for her green hair.

Barbara Baaba

Barbara Baaba was an elderly woman who was possesed by Irina Clockworker sometime in the mid fifth century EC after the mage was forced to give up her former host, Aybee Cee. Irina then took the name "Abyss I.R." and soon began working for the Kingdom of Marlon. In EC 502 Irina abandoned the woman as a medium for Elluka Clockworker.

Beelzenian Emperor (EC 505)

An emperor of the Beelzenian Empire after the death of his father during the war with the Kingdom of Lucifenia. Born as a prince in the Beelzenian Imperial Family, the man became acquainted with Elluka Clockworker during Beelzenia's war with Lucifenia. Over time, the Prince attempted to push a courtship with the mage but was flatly rejected before Elluka eventually defected to Lucifenia. Around EC 491, his father died of the Gula disease and the prince ascended the throne as Emperor and ruled the nation as it recovered from its losses.

In EC 502, the Emperor called upon Elluka Clockworker during Marlon's annexation of Lucifenia and was presented with Elluka's apprentice, Gumillia, instead; he soon after accepted the sorceress as his court mage and personal adviser. When the Lucifenian Resistance sought refuge in Beelzenia, the Emperor heeded Gumillia's advice and refused to hand over the fugitives to Marlon. He later secured a permit for Yukina Freezis to enter Beelzenia on Gumillia's encouragement, sending a summons for the child to meet him in the Imperial City.

After meeting with Yukina, promising not to reveal her location to her father, the Emperor introduced her to Duke Oruhari as a guide per the girl's wish to learn more about Banica Conchita. When the undead soldiers invaded Beelzenia, led by the reanimated corpse of his father, the Emperor called a meeting with all the lords in the Empire and discussed the correct course of action with Gumillia. He also forbade Yukina from leaving the Imperial Palace. The Emperor later met with Riliane Mouchet, who had defected from Lucifenia, and learned that Ney Phutapie was now in command of Retasan Fortress.

Determining from the report by Chartette Langley that Marlon was behind the attacks, the Emperor spoke with Gumillia afterwards to discuss their plan of counterattack on Retasan Fortress. Dividing his forces in four, the Emperor ordered the attack on the fortress city the next day and eventually pushed back the Marlon forces, capturing a majority of the city.

Beelzenian Emperor (former)

An Emperor of the Beelzenian Empire that ruled during the 5th century EC. During the Lucifenian Expansion War, the Emperor employed the services of the imperial family's acquaintance, Elluka Clockworker, to serve as a staff officer but she later defected to serve King Arth I.

In EC 490, the Emperor became infected with the Gula epidemic that broke out there and eventually died of the disease. He was later buried in a Beelzenian cemetery and subsequently reanimated by Ney Phutapie to serve as the field commander of her undead army in EC 505. Coordinating the walking corpses in their attacks across the Empire, the former emperor was later slain that same year by Riliane Mouchet and beheaded. Afterwards, the head was presented as a gift to his son, the current emperor, as proof of her victory.

Bonnard

Bonnard was a soldier stationed in Retasan Fortress who worked under Commander Riliane Mouchet. When Yukina attempted to pass through the city to Beelzenia, he stopped her at the gate along with his partner Oudinot.

Bruno (EC 500)

Bruno was a butler of Keel Freezis, serving as his chamberlain and aide when ever needed. Sometime during his life, he joined the Association and took up the name "Bruno" like the other members. Following the group's assimilation as part of the Freezis Firm, Bruno became a butler for Keel, acting as his chief aide and informant while managing the Freezis estate in Elphegort.

On December 27, EC 499, he attended the celebration of Princess Riliane's birthday as the Freezis' entourage. Later on in EC 500, during Allen Avadonia's visit, he directed the boy to wait while Keel was discussing matters with another guest. When Keel called a meeting regarding Kyle's rejection of Riliane in favor of Michaela, Bruno overheard the story and related the situation to everyone during the meeting.

Around EC 502, Bruno retired from the Freezis' services and moved to Beelzenia with his family. In EC 505, Duke Oruhari introduced him to Yukina as a conciliatory measure when he put her under surveillance following her secretly joining the Langley Unit as a medic. Yukina paid him to continually report to her the state of the battle at Retasan Fortress, while he was also feeding information to Keel regarding his child's welfare. He later reported Beelzenia's success in breaking the dead-lock with Marlon. Two months later, Bruno was tasked with locating Gumillia after she resigned from her position at the Imperial City and found her staying the night at Di Bono Pavillion in Retasan.

Carla

Carla was a villager from Yatski in the Kingdom of Elphegort. During the Green Hunting, she was killed by the Lucifenian army for her green hair. She was proficient at sewing.

Denis

Denis was an orphan living at the Held Monastery in Lucifenia. Orphaned at a young age, Denis was taken in by the nuns living at the Levin monastery and raised there along with the other orphans. Around EC 501, Denis helped Clarith convince Rin to start helping with the work by acting enthusiastically about performing his chores, and being promised a snack when he finished. When Rin finally agreed to help, Denis returned to playing with the other kids.

Over the next five years, Denis continued to live at the orphanage and grew bold as a teenager. While helping Clarith at the shed, he spotted Yukina Freezis and Germaine Avadonia approaching the monastery and confronted them about their business there, getting into a quarrel with Germaine. Soon after Clarith interrupted, apologizing for Denis's behavior, and received her friends to the monastery.

Felix (earl)

An earl of the Kingdom of Elphegort, residing in Toragay. In EC 499, Ayn of the village of Yatski approached him and told him about the atrocities caused by his father, the Yatski chieftain. After arresting the chief, the earl allowed Ayn to join the Elphegort army under his jurisdiction. Following Princess Riliane's birthday, the earl visited Keel Freezis to learn the current state of Lucifenia. Learning Ayn's friends he had saved were working there, he brought along Ayn as his escort.

After finishing his discussion with Keel, and watching the man be greeted by his daughter, the earl left with Ayn. During the Green Hunting, Toragay was captured and Earl Felix arrested and transferred to Lucifenia. He is an ancestor to Dr. Marx Felix.

Gaston Mouchet

Gaston Mouchet was a general of the Kingdom of Lucifenia and the father of Riliane Mouchet. Over the course of his career, Gaston received high acclaim for his contributions to the kingdom and became one of the generals in the Lucifenian army. After his daughter was born in EC 485, Gaston named her after the Empress Riliane Roses, with the permission of the Lucifenian Royal Family due to his family's distant relation to the royal family. As she grew up, he instilled in Riliane his philosophy of war and to not take vengeance over death in the battlefield.

In early EC 500, Princess Riliane assigned General Mouchet to serve as the commander of Retasan Fortress out of dislike for his facial hair. As the Lucifenian Revolution progressed later that year, the royal palace recalled Mouchet's forces to help suppress the growing resurgence. During their return trip, they were attacked by an unidentified army corp helping the Resistance and Gaston was slain by the disguised Kyle Marlon. Following his death, Riliane eventually succeeded him as Retasan's commander.

Hannah

Hannah was a villager from Yatski in the Kingdom of Elphegort. During the Green Hunting, she was killed by the Lucifenian army for her green hair. Hannah had a love for food and ate a lot.

Josephine

Josephine was the horse owned by Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche. Given to Riliane at an unknown time, the princess grew attached to her and kept her in the royal stables as her favorite horse. On the day before Riliane's fourteenth birthday, Riliane took Josephine and rode away to the nameless beach, despite the rocky road, she was able to make the journey without getting tired. While on the beach, the horse stood by her owner's side until Allen Avadonia arrived and escorted them back.

Towards end of the Lucifenian Revolution, Josephine carried the disguised Riliane away from the palace. After Riliane escaped the country, Josephine lived in the Millennium Tree Forest for several years. In her old age, she reencountered Riliane, now Rin, and later succumbed to an illness, dying at the monastery.

After her death, her soul ascended to the Heavenly Yard and she remained there. After the destruction and merging of Third Period and the Hellish Yard by Punishment, Josephine's soul was dragged down to the ground world. Sometime after, Clarith rode Josephine to the Lucifenian Royal Palace to retrieve Allen on Michaela's orders. She was later mounted by Riliane once again when Clarith fetched her to save her from Tasan Party soldiers.

Karna

Karna was a member of the Espionage Task Force in Marlon, formed sometime after EC 482. Trained for infiltration and spying along several other women, Karna was one of the four selected to specialize in assassination. Following the task force's completion, she went on several missions in service of Abyss I.R. and Prim Marlon. In EC 502, Karna accompanied the rest of her unit to Lucifenia to assist in King Kyle's Witch Hunt directive, hunting down those blacklisted by the king.

Karna was brought with her fellow members to Castle Hedgehog under Ney's command. Shortly before the castle was invaded by King Kyle, she helped set up an ambush and attacked the king and Germaine's entourage. Setting out upon the group and unsheathing her weapon, Karna joined in as her comrades introduced themselves and taunted the soldiers with their abilities. As Kyle and his troops pursued Ney, Karna and the others attacked Germaine, only to be subdued some time later.

Langley (wife)

The wife of Smith Langley and mother of Chartette Langley. Living in The Kingdom of Lucifenia, she eventually settled down in its capital and married local blacksmith Smith Langley. On April 1, EC 474, she gave birth to a daughter and named her Chartette. Continuing to live in the smithy during and after the Lucifenian Revolution and Chartette's departure, she was consulted by her husband if she would support the pregnant smithy hand Nagisa Coulomb throughout her term. She soon accepted the task and helped Nagisa until she gave birth, later helping to care for the baby boy.

Lutwidge

Lutwidge was Kyle's instructor in swordplay. After Kyle inherited the throne from his father, Lutwidge was hired to instruct the young king in the art of swordfighting. Over the course of Kyle's training, Lutwidge observed the young king's capabilities and told him that had he been taught how to fight at a young age, he would have had the chance of becoming one of the top ten swordsmen in Evillious.

Margaret

Margaret was the wife of a Marlon aristocrat and Kyle Marlon's art tutor. At some point, she met a Marlon noble and the two became engaged. Around EC 488, Margaret was hired as Prince Kyle's art teacher and instructed him while the boy was living with his relatives, proud to see the portrait he made of Ney Phutapie using her instruction.

Margaret, as well as her husband, began heavily criticizing the royal family, forcing the King and Queen into open arguments with them. In EC 489, Margaret and her husband were arrested as political prisoners. While in the dungeon, a guard handed Margaret Gift, a poison, from Queen Prim. She then took the poison, committing suicide. Descending from Elphes, Margaret had long green hair and similarly colored eyes and bore a strong resemblance to Eve Moonlit, albeit appearing much older. She is represented by the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku.

Matski

Matski was the vice captain of the Espionage Task Force in Marlon, formed sometime after EC 482. Trained for infiltration and spying along several other women, Matski was one of the four selected to specialize in assassination. Following the task force's completion, she went on several missions in service of Abyss I.R. and Prim Marlon. In EC 502, Matski accompanied the rest of her unit to Lucifenia to assist in King Kyle's Witch Hunt directive, hunting down those blacklisted by the king.

Nagisa Coulomb

Nagisa Coulomb was a blacksmith assistant in the Kingdom of Lucifenia, employed by Smith Langley. At some point, she was hired to work in the Langley smithy at a young age in Lucifenian, getting to know Smith and his daughter Chartette. Though never really doing metalwork, she preferred the field of explosives and firearms.

Before the Lucifenian Revolution, Nagisa designed and constructed a rocket glove, which was then given to Chartette. Around the same time, Nagisa encountered Venom Mercenaries leader Gast Venom and entered a short affair with him, becoming pregnant with his child. Learning of his death during the Revolution, and the Langleys discovering and worrying over her pregnancy, she resolved to take care of the child by herself and insisted she continue working at the smithy, which Smith and his wife allowed.

One day, a priest came in requesting the destruction of two swords, which she paid no mind to. After some time, Nagisa noticed Smith and the local artisans were struggling in their attempt to destroy the twin swords, and suggested they use explosives, and Smith heeded her advice. Months later, she gave birth to a baby boy. Nagisa was a very quiet woman who kept to herself, especially about her love life. She is the great-grandmother of Gatt Coulomb.

Nahed

Nahed was a legendary swordsman residing in Asmodean. At some point in the late EC 400s, Nahed was approached by Leonhart Avadonia and instructed the young man in the art of swordplay. Later on, in the early EC 500s, he was approached by the revolutionary hero Germaine Avadonia and taught her swordplay as well.

Nikolay Tolle

Nikolay Tolle was an artist famed across Evillious for his works. Around the latter years of the Lucifenian Expansion War, Nikolay was commissioned by the Lucifenian Royal Palace to create a ceiling painting featuring King Arth and Queen Anne along with the Three Heroes. Finishing the works in the palace's Hall of Mirrors, he dubbed them "Between the Mirrors" and "The King and the Three Heroes".

In EC 488, the famed artist was bribed by Queen Prim to use his authority to belittle her son, Kyle. In EC 499, a year before the Lucifenian Revolution, he committed suicide.

Non

Non was a member of the Espionage Task Force in Marlon, formed sometime after EC 482. Trained for infiltration and spying along several other women, Non was one of the four selected to specialize in assassination. Following the task force's completion, she went on several missions in service of Abyss I.R. and Prim Marlon. In EC 502, Non accompanied the rest of her unit to Lucifenia to assist in King Kyle's Witch Hunt directive, hunting down those blacklisted by the king.

Olten

Olten was a servant of the Lucifenian Royal Palace. Serving as a menial at the palace for Princess Riliane, the servant passed away some time after and his soul was sent to the Heavenly Yard. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard. Afterward, he returned to his servant duties at the palace and helped with the preparations for Princess Riliane's dinner party in the Hall of Mirrors.

Oruhari (EC 505)

A duke of the Oruhari family in the Beelzenian Empire and one of the Five Dukes. At a young age, the man became the head of the family and the Duke of Grabia among the Five Dukes. At some point, he became extremely knowledgeable in the lore of Banica Conchita. In EC 505, the Beelzenian Emperor introduced Yukina Freezis to the Duke and asked he share with her his knowledge of Banica.

Over the course of two weeks, Oruhari escorted Yukina across Grabia, visiting sites with her as he shared his knowledge of the legendary Conchita. His job came to an end when Yukina said she would pursue The Daughter of Evil instead, and he flirtatiously offered her to visit him nonetheless.

When Beelzenia was invaded by the undead soldiers, Oruhari was among the nobles who rushed to the Imperial City to meet with the Emperor. Finding Yukina, the Duke explained the situation, referencing the story of Vampiress Vanika to the undead army, and explained that the Emperor's dead father was leading it. The Duke later refused to allow Yukina to tag along with Chartette for her own safety. Later, after Yukina had snuck out from the Imperial Palace to aid in repelling the dead soldiers, he had her put under surveillance to keep her from doing anything equally rash. Realizing her disagreement with that, he sent the retired Bruno to her to keep her informed on the war proceedings.

Oudinot

Oudinot was a soldier stationed in Retasan Fortress who worked under Commander Riliane Mouchet. When Yukina attempted to pass through the city to Beelzenia, he stopped her at the gate along with his partner Bonnard.

Pant

Pant was a woodcutter of the Kingdom of Elphegort, living in the Millennium Tree Forest with his wife and child. His house was made entirely of logs; on a few occasions, the forest spirit Michaela had investigated the house while in robin form.

Parkage Meld

Parkage Meld was a duke of the Kingdom of Elphegort, living in Aceid. The duke stood out as a unique person, to the point that Elluka suspected he may have possessed one of the Four Mirrors of Lucifenia, and had power comparable to that of King Thorny Elphen and Keel Freezis.

Phutapie (mother)

A head of the Secret Information Unit in Asmodean and the adoptive mother of Mariam Phutapie. As a member of her family, she trained in information management and espionage and eventually joined the Asmodean military, earning her place as head of its intelligence branch. After the amnesiac girl Mariam was picked up by a caravan, she adopted her and later enlisted her in the military.

In EC 477, she investigated Gast Venom's past on behalf of Abyss I.R. After her research was conducted, she dropped her report off to General Shalgham along with a witness from Gast's hometown. She was later known for being Mariam's mother after her daughter defected to Lucifenia and became one of the Three Heroes. She was regarded as a beautiful woman with silver hair and was an expert in her family's trade.

Preynat

Preynat was a minister of the Kingdom of Lucifenia, serving under Princess Riliane. After the Green Hunting, Preynat and the other ministers agreed to continue the war with Elphegort in order to conquer the territory. The ministers later debated hiring the Venom Mercenaries before reaching a consensus. During the Lucifenian Revolution, Preynat fled from the royal palace after hearing of the mercenaries' defeat and the revolutionary army's fast approach toward the capital.

Riliane Roses

Riliane Roses was an empress from the Lucifenian Royal Family. Living during the 5th century EC in the Kingdom of Lucifenia, Riliane eventually married and became an empress, siring at least one child. Long after her death, she was remembered fondly, with her great-granddaughter, Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche, and the daughter of the Mouchet family, Riliane Mouchet, being named after her.

Rim

Rim was a member of the Espionage Task Force in Marlon, formed sometime after EC 482. Trained for infiltration and spying along several other women, Rim was one of the four selected to specialize in assassination. Following the task force's completion, she went on several missions in service of Abyss I.R. and Prim Marlon. In EC 502, Rim accompanied the rest of her unit to Lucifenia to assist in King Kyle's Witch Hunt directive, hunting down those blacklisted by the king.

Sarah Octo

Sarah Octo was the sister of Zenon Octo, later known as Gast Venom. Born in a village in the Kingdom of Elphegort in EC 463, Sarah's mother committed suicide when she was four and her brother was forced to go mugging for their food. In EC 473, Sarah died of unknown causes.

Following her death, her brother would leave their village and become a soldier of Asmodean. In EC 477, Yvette impersonated Sarah as part of General Shalgham's plot to legally kill Gast. Sarah was thin from malnutrition; she also had a striking resemblance to Yvette, as well as a passing resemblance to Princess Riliane.

Seton

Seton was one of the troops brought by King Kyle for his assault on the Blood Pool region. Shortly before the attack, Seton gathered with the other troops in the town of Lioness to organize their strategy and was added into the first division that would march west on Blood Pool. That night, he joined his fellows in the Lioness rose gardens as Kyle introduced Germaine as their commander and they all feasted at the following banquet.

The next day, during the battle at Castle Hedgehog, Seton joined Kyle's squad in infiltrating the Castle when the group was ambushed by the Espionage Task Force. He as well as Walpole accompanied Kyle to search for Prim Marlon and left their comrades behind; reaching the top of the clocktower, they saw Ney flee and followed orders to pursue her. The two caught up to Ney before being slaughtered by the assassin.

Sfarz (duke)

A Sfarz family duke of the Kingdom of Marlon and the father of Mikina Freezis, as well as the head of a vast intelligence network. After discovering that Keel Freezis had impregnated his daughter, the Duke objected to their relationship, fearing that Keel was simply using Mikina to get at his wealth and intelligence network. Although the Duke attempted to ensnare Keel with his connections, the pair fled.

Sometime after EC 492, Duke Sfarz became involved with the machinations of Queen Prim Marlon and conspired with her using the intelligence network; over time, he collected the Marlon Spoon and the Glass of Conchita, giving the vessels of sin to Abyss I.R. In Marlon's political chaos of EC 494, Sfarz traveled to Elphegort in search of Mikina. Finding a nanny who worked for Mikina, the Duke learned of her son, Shaw, and had the sitter lead him to the Freezis Mansion in Aceid along with a group of attendants.

While taking Shaw, Mikina walked in and her father threatened to take her son with him back to Marlon if she did not return home immediately. In the ensuing struggle for Shaw, Mikina unwittingly unleashed the power of the Marlon Spoon and killed the Duke and his associates. After his death, Mikina replaced him as a collaborator in Queen Prim's machinations with Abyss I.R. and his actions would later be recounted by her over a decade later when Mikina revealed her past to her eldest daughter, Yukina.

Shalgham

Shalgham was the general of the Golden Dragon Unit in Asmodean and the stepfather of Yvette, as well as the father of two unnamed boys. A cruel man, he and his sons treated his stepdaughter terribly despite loving her mother. After discovering that Gast Venom, a soldier under his command, was a descendant of Sateriasis Venomania, Shalgham began plotting to kill him due to his devout Levin faith and jealousy of his raw talent. At some point, he met Abyss I.R. who offered him aid in his endeavors by giving him the Venom Sword, and he investigated Gast's background utilizing the reconnaissance skills of the Phutapie family.

After it was brought to his attention that Yvette had a remarkable resemblance to Gast's sister, Sarah, he coerced her into following his unit when they passed through the Misty Mountain range on their way to invade the Babul Desert during the Lucifenian Expansion War. He then had her appear to Gast at a pagan altar in the guise of Sarah's ghost with the Venom Sword in hand, tricking him into believing she was able to appear with the altar; as a result, Gast would rebel if Shalgham made a proclamation to destroy it, giving the general a reason to kill him legally.

Although having succeeded in enraging Gast, Shalgham was killed by Yvette before his plan could be fully carried out, his stepdaughter betraying and killing him when he refused to back out of his plan.

Smith Langley

Smith Langley was a blacksmith of the Kingdom of Lucifenia, residing in Lucifenian, and the father of Chartette Langley. During the Lucifenian Expansion War, he met the Three Heroes and forged their weapons and armor for combat, repairing their weapons when needed. After the war, he was regularly visited by Leonhart Avadonia and his two adopted children, Allen and Germaine, to give repairs to his equipment.

During Princess Riliane's tyranny, Smith grew increasingly embittered by the princess' cruel rule during the famine. After Leonhart's death, Chartette brought Germaine back home after she fainted and he helped tend to her. With Leonhart's death allegedly an assassination by Riliane, the blacksmith decided to help supply Germaine and the Lucifenian Resistance with weapons to assist their cause. During the Green Hunting, he reforged Leonhart's armor to fit Germaine and crafted her a new sword. He later fashioned a large blade for Chartette to use in the revolution. He later delivered the new equipment to the hideout of the Resistance in the Forest of Bewilderment.

Unknown Asmodean Emperor

The Emperor of Asmodean during the late fifth century EC. Establishing meritocratic policies, he recruited anyone who had proven themselves useful into the army for their war against the invading Kingdom of Lucifenia in the early EC 470s. While traveling along the Asmodean border in EC 473, he came across an unconscious boy, who had been badly burned, and brought him back to his palace in Lasaland. After tending to the child's injuries, the Emperor learned of the boy's skill with a sword and had him begin working for him in the military as part of the Golden Dragon Unit, under the name "Gast".

After Gast made multiple achievements, the Emperor bestowed him the title of "Venom" in honor of his accolades. The Emperor later dispatched the Golden Dragon and Silver Sparrow units to reinforce the Babul Desert warfront in EC 477. Weeks later, the units returned after Mariam Phutapie defected and Gast allegedly murdered his superior, General Shalgham, and became badly burned. Once Gast was put on trial six months later and found guilty, the Asmodean ruler exiled him from the country. Later on, while on another one of his travels, the Emperor came across the pilgrim Yvette and shared with her what had happened with Gast.

Unknown Corpa

A leading businessman of the Kingdom of Lucifenia and the head of the Corpa Firm. Garnering relations with the Royal Family, Corpa became a prominent merchant and the personal businessman of Princess Riliane, as well as part of the Freezis Firm. During the Green War, he paid the bail for Keel and the Freezis Family and allowed them to stay in his home while they were under house arrest.

Under Keel's direction, he paid off staff at the palace to permit Clarith's release from military detainment. Traveling to Toragay, he presented the documents to Daniel Ausdin and took custody over Clarith. After announcing the news that The Daughter of Green was killed, Corpa panicked when Clarith bit her tongue. Once she was healed, the two traveled to Corpa's mansion to join the Freezises.

Corpa supported Keel during the Lucifenian Revolution and afterward the Kingdom of Marlon when it occupied Lucifenia. With King Kyle's reign, Corpa's business flourished. In EC 505, King Kyle attended a banquet he held at his mansion with a young singer as the entertainment. By EC 500, Corpa was already middle-aged with a sizable beard and whiskers and a large figure. He had a jovial relationship with Keel and was rather smug about spiting General Daniel. He is the ancestor of Ton Corpa.

Unknown Elphe Orphan

A Elphe child who worked for an innkeeping couple in Aceid. The child was born sometime in the late 5th century EC to an Elphegortean businessman and woman, before both of his parents died of the Gula plague. He then began living with a couple in Aceid who ran an inn. When Michaela came to visit the inn, the boy was introduced to her in hopes she could cheer him up. When he explained how his mother used to sing him the song "North South Story", Michaela offered to sing it for him and ended up going outside for the whole city to hear.

As Michaela sang in the middle of the city square, the boy stood beside her and listened with a smile; cheered by her song, he returned in high spirits to the inn. The boy's appearance was akin to a mouse due to having buckteeth. He is possibly represented by the Vocaloid Ryuto.

Unknown Marlon King

The king of Marlon during the EC 490s and the father of Kyle. Sometime after marrying, the king became distraught when he lost his wife; during his depression, he met and was comforted by Prim Rogzé, eventually falling in love with her. In EC 474, the king married Prim and sired a son with her, naming him Kyle; during this time, however, he sired several other illegitimate children with various mistresses. He and his wife later hired Margaret to be Kyle's art tutor.

At some point, the king had a portrait of himself made and hung in his throne room. Sometime during the EC 480s, the man began facing criticism from Margaret and her husband, often forced into open arguments with them along with Prim. In EC 489, the king had the couple arrested as political prisoners. He later died sometime during the EC 490s.

Unknown Politician

A politician in the Kingdom of Lucifenia and the older brother of Asan. Although a highly esteemed politician, at some point during Riliane's reign he became fed up with her tyranny and spoke in opposition to her; soon after, he was sentenced to execution and beheaded. Following his death, Asan plotted revenge against Riliane and tried to assassinate her, causing him to be executed in turn.

Unknown Watchman

A watchman that guarded the wall surrounding the Kingdom of Mukoku sometime during the EC 540s. At some point, the kingdom's monarch declared that the kingdom was off-limits to outsiders and the watchman began strictly implementing the rule. In EC 549, the man encountered two women. Stopping them at the gates, the watchman explained to the duo that only the kingdom's people were allowed past the wall.

When the women returned with black hair and attempted to pass though, the watchman stopped them once again, pointing out that his people didn't have such pale skin. Once the women returned with their skin a darker color, the watchman stopped them a third time, saying that his people's eyes weren't such strange colors. Realizing the two weren't leaving, the watchman bid the women not to think poorly of their country, stating he and the wall were necessary to protect the kingdom. Once one of the women summoned a powerful wind, the watchman was blown away.

Wadon

Wadon was a minister of the Kingdom of Lucifenia, serving under Princess Riliane. After the intended target was killed in the Green Hunting, Wadon and the other ministers agreed to continue the war with Elphegort in order to conquer the territory. The ministers later debated hiring the Venom Mercenaries before reaching a consensus. During the Lucifenian Revolution, Wadon fled from the royal palace after hearing of the mercenaries' defeat and the revolutionary army's fast approach toward the capital.

Walpole

Walpole was one of the troops brought by King Kyle for his assault on the Blood Pool Region. Shortly before the attack, Walpole gathered with the other troops in the town of Lioness to organize their strategy and was added into the first division that would march west on Blood Pool. That night, he joined his fellows in the Lioness rose gardens as Kyle introduced Germaine as their commander and they all feasted at the following banquet.

The next day, during the battle at Castle Hedgehog, Walpole joined Kyle's squad in infiltrating the Castle when the group was ambushed by the Espionage Task Force. He as well as Seton accompanied Kyle to search for Prim Marlon and left their comrades behind; reaching the top of the clocktower, they saw Ney flee and followed orders to pursue her. The two caught up to Ney before being slaughtered by the assassin.

Yatski Chief

The chieftain of Yatski, Elphegort and the father of Ayn. Although tasked with collecting government taxes for Earl Felix from the villagers, during his reign as chief he pocketed a portion of the money he collected. At some point, he married and sired a son, naming him Ayn. Around that time, the chief joined the other villagers in their mistreatment of Clarith, persecuting her for her Netsuma heritage. Several years since siring his son, the chief's wife died.

After his nephew Eugen returned to the village around EC 492, the man employed him to assist him with collecting land fees, having him intimidate anyone who refused to pay their dues. When Clarith later began failing to pay the fees, the chief would bring her to his home to "work off" her dues by subjecting her to cruel treatment.

In EC 499, he visited Clarith's home with Eugen to collect her fees, entering to find her tending to a strange Elphe girl. Learning Clarith needed more time, he started to suggest she "work" at his place again until the Elphe girl, Michaela, presented money to cover the cost of the land fees. Although shocked to see her helping a Netsuma, the chief accepted the money and left with Eugen, later allowing Michaela to stay in the village over the next six months.

After Eugen confronted his uncle about pocketing some of Earl Felix's tax money, threatening to expose his corruption to the Earl unless he diverted it into illegal channels, the chief poisoned and murdered him. Soon after, he told the villagers that Clarith was to blame for the incident, claiming she poisoned Eugen out of resentment for her situation. Mobbing, the villagers went to Clarith's home only to find that she, Michaela, and Ayn had already fled. Later on, the chief was arrested for his crimes and imprisoned by Earl Felix.

Yatski Shaman

Clarith's foster mother and a former shaman living in Yatski, Elphegort. At some point the woman moved to Yatski village and adopted a Netsuma child and later taught the young girl how to read and write, never mentioning her old job as a shaman because her daughter did not believe in magic. At some point the old woman contracted the Gula disease and became very thin and ill. When Clarith brought home and clumsily bandaged an injured green robin, really Michaela in robin form, the former shaman fixed the bird's bandages while Clarith was out.

Once Clarith returned, her mother welcomed her back home and later, noticing the robin had woken up, presented it with a box of worms to eat; she was surprised to see the robin refuse the worms and eat some of the trauben Clarith offered instead. She then conversed with Clarith over the possibility the bird was a forest spirit, faced with Clarith's skepticism in the existence of spirits or gods. She then watched as Clarith left to the village chief's house; as the old woman fed the robin more trauben, she apologized to it for Clarith's behavior and assured that she was was a good person despite her attitude.

Over the next two weeks, she helped care for the bird with Clarith, who had named it "Grüne," although sleeping often due to her illness. When, one day, Gumillia came in the form of a chipmunk to rescue Grüne, the woman greeted them and related how she had known all along that the two were spirits, explaining her former profession. After exchanging thanks with Grüne for being a friend to Clarith, she explained how her daughter was abused due to her Netsuma lineage and clarified that she herself wasn't a Netsuma, although she also wasn't originally from Elphegort.

After talking further with the bird, the shaman gave the spirits some trauben to take back and allowed them to leave. When Clarith came back, the shaman explained how Grüne had left, trying to console her daughter as she processed the news. Afterwards, the two went to bed. When Clarith brought the newly reincarnated Michaela to their home, the girl having contracted a fever, the old woman helped Clarith care for the Elphe. After Clarith had an outburst, the former shaman entered and gave Michaela soup, although just barely prevented from "seasoning" it with bugs.

She later watched as Michaela paid the chief for the land fees they owed. The former shaman oversaw Michaela staying with them for some time as she gradually befriended her stepdaughter. Sometime later in the middle of the night, the old woman passed away, leaving the two to fend for themselves.
