This is a list of characters that have appeared in the Seven Crimes and Punishments short story.

Adam[]

A version of Adam from an alternate timeline. In the ruined world, Adam ended up in the Grave Yard. He then wandered its vast wasteland until he came upon a hill and encountered Hänsel and Allen Avadonia. After Hänsel greeted him, Adam remained silent before noticing the boy holding up the Clockworker's Doll and he repeatedly called out for his mother as he reached for it.

As Hänsel fled up the hill, Adam slowly chased after him and Allen. Once the three boys reached the top, they encountered Nemesis Sudou with a fourth boy, Amostia, who looked like the Punishment weapon. Nemesis then activated the boy, enveloping Adam in the blast along with everyone else.[1]

Allen Avadonia[]

A version of Allen Avadonia from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, once Nemesis Sudou used the Punishment weapon to destroy the Third Period, Sickle brought Allen out of Black Box and the boy immediately noted that the Heavenly Yard was empty, learning that all the other souls had been pulled to the ground with the destruction of the Third Period and merging with the more powerful Hellish Yard. Sickle explained that he wished Allen to restore the fallen souls, although he needed first to review more history; in order to understand history as more than just information, he intended to have Allen meet and interview the most influential figures of history, in particular those who had been influenced by the Demons of Sin.

Told to first contact Held and Michaela, Allen became lost in thought after discussing his old crush before Sickle urged him to hurry up. Using Black Box, he transferred himself down to the site of the ruined Millennium Tree Forest. Once there, Allen was surprised to see the destroyed forest seemingly full of life like before; shortly after, encountered Michaela in her robin form and Held as an incorporeal voice, the latter not allowed to interfere with the ground world.

After Held explained that the Millennium Tree Forest around them was an illusion conjured by the memories of the souls in the Hellish Yard, Allen was led by Michaela to the spot of the the Millennium Tree. Michaela then summoned the vessels of sin and told the boy to take the Venom Sword first and have the Demon of Lust lead him to Sateriasis Venomania. Although reluctant to leave without speaking to Michaela, Allen obliged and grabbed the Venom Sword, greeted by the Demon of Lust shortly after.

After chatting, Allen being surprised by the demon's cooperation with the gods, Allen tried to fly to their next destination and found himself pulled to the ground like the other souls. Nonetheless, shortly after, the demon transported him to the destroyed Asmodean.[2] There they arrived at the Venomania Mansion. Easily unlocking the door, Allen and the demon entered the building to meet with the first demon contractor.

After meeting and having his identity revealed to Sateriasis, Allen ended up in a conversation with the duke about how he was still using his transformed face and still entertaining a harem, albeit the women involved were no longer there by force. As he began debating with Sateriasis on their opposing views of polygamy, Allen became frustrated and approached Maylis Beelzenia instead, despite this invoking a jealous tantrum from Sateriasis. Questioning Maylis on why she'd rejoined the harem, Allen was puzzled by her admittance that she didn't love Sateriasis but nonetheless had complex feelings towards him as the father of her daughter. Maylis then explained her opinion that Lukana and Mikulia loved Sateriasis, while she was unsure of Gumina's feelings.

Satisfied, Allen decided to go and said his farewells to Maylis; before he left, Sateriasis requested Allen send I.R. his way; despite knowing the impossibility of the request, he agreed to keep it in mind. On his way out, Allen also encountered Gumina and spoke with her briefly about her history. Prying into her relationship with Sateriasis, Allen tried to tell her that despite everything, she was the one Sateriasis wanted, only for Gumina to brush him off and go inside. While they prepared to go, Allen chatted with the demon about how strange it had felt to see people who resembled others he knew.

Their conversation was then cut short with the arrival of Allen's next guide: Hänsel, holding the Glass of Conchita. Hänsel explained that, as the true Demon of Gluttony had been eaten, he had been sent in Banica's stead to take Allen to the Conchita Mansion, and the two of them flew to Beelzenia after the Demon of Lust left.[3] In Beelzenia, Allen met with Banica Conchita while she ate greedily at the dinner table; after finally starting the meeting, Allen noted their last meeting when he was alive, among other things, before asking directly why she had become a demon.

In response to his questions, Banica listed her various reasons for eating the demon instead of her baby, which would have saved her from death. Allen afterwards asked why, once she had become the Demon, she possessed Riliane instead of him and learned he couldn't be possessed according to the "rules" of the world. Banica then asked Allen in turn what Sickle was plotting, although Allen admitted he didn't know. With this, the interview concluded and Banica retired to sleep, although not before letting Allen know that Gretel had requested to see him.

Entering a room nearby, Allen saw Gretel in her "Arte" persona and greeted her with the name he once knew her as, Ney. In response, Gretel transformed into her Ney Phutapie persona; after nervously trying to apologize for killing Michaela, and telling him to give Riliane her regards, Gretel gave Allen one of the Four Mirrors of Lucifenia from her. From the mirror, the Demon of Pride manifested, albeit smaller than Allen expected, and slowly flew them to Lucifenia.[4]

After the Demon of Pride deposited him at the site of the former Lucifenian Royal Palace and left, Allen proceeded inside alone and was surprised to find it was hosting a party with everyone from his days as a servant in attendance. Allen was soon spotted by Chartette, having returned to her status as a maid, and roped into helping prepare for the approaching dinner party, looking in vain for Riliane among the guests. Finally, like he had once before, Allen helped wheel a gigantic cake into the Hall of Mirrors; when Minis finished presenting the cake, he was shocked to see Riliane jump out of it.

While he stood stunned, Allen watched Germaine and Riliane get into a quarrel about her spoiling the food; when Riliane ran out of the Hall of Mirrors, he immediately chased her through the palace. Losing sight of her, Allen headed to check his sister's old room and encountered his parents, Arth and Anne, standing before the door. After he got over his shock, he warmly reunited with his birth parents before preparing to go meet with Riliane. Just before he could enter the room, however, Arth and Anne abruptly fell asleep from inhaling Gift.

He was approached by Clarith, riding atop Josephine, who explained that the "Sleep Princess" had unleashed an Eighth Gift as a poison mist to make even souls sleep. On Clarith's command, Allen joined her on Josephine and the two set off for Elphegort to stop her.[5] On the way to Toragay, they were stopped by Hänsel in the form of Lemy Abelard, who argued to come along and help using the Clockworker's Doll despite Clarith's protests. Allen eventually gave Hänsel permission to follow after them; Hänsel then showed Allen how the doll had been damaged shortly before the world's end.

Afterwards, with Hänsel promising to catch up, Allen and Clarith entered Toragay and confronted the Sleep Princess. Finding her beyond reasoning, the two were unable to think of any solutions to stop her without being put to sleep themselves, fumbling for options when Hänsel arrived. Allen then observed as the other boy trapped the Sleep Princess in the Clockworker's Doll. Although briefly discouraged by his failure to help, Allen was reassured by Hänsel and then prepared to head to Jakoku to meet with the next contractor, encountering the Demon of Envy.

After talking to the demon, Allen got onto her back as instructed. The demon changed into a fish, and the two of them swam across the murky sea to Jakoku.[6] Along the way, Allen failed to make conversation with the demon and waited until Jakoku was in sight, learning from the demon that they had arrived much sooner than they should have and that time and space may have begun to distort. Afterwards, the demon brought Allen to Onigashima, and from there Enbizaka.

While the Demon of Envy rested, Allen walked up the slope of Enbizaka to Kayo's tailor shop, until he realized he was caught in a loop and unable to progress. As he sat down to rest, he spotted the Demon of Greed, who helped him escape the loop in return for future compensation. Arriving at the shop, Allen was greeted by the tailor as "Ren" and learned that Kayo appeared to have the same delusional facade as when she was alive. As the two talked, Kayo mentioned how she had to receive "judgment" before she could go home and prepare dinner. She then walked away from Allen and into a western-styled courthouse.

Following after her into a large room full of souls, Allen saw Gallerian Marlon presiding over the apparent court session for Kayo Sudou.[7] Sitting as a spectator, he watched in horror as Gallerian carried out the trial and then, finding Kayo guilty, sentenced her to beheading on the guillotine that appeared in the court. Flashing back to his own execution, Allen screamed for the courtroom to stop; Gallerian then approached him and said he would exempt Kayo in return for, if not money, Allen being executed in her place.

As the judge's men approached the terrified Allen, he was saved by Hänsel throwing his voice to the Clockworker's Doll, pretending to be Michelle and convincing her "Papa" to trial Allen before executing him. Once Gallerian began the trial for "Irregular" for being responsible for bringing the world to ruin, he tried to find a prosecutor for Allen, before the Master of the Hellish Yard entered the courtroom. After quarreling with Gallerian, the Master of the Hellish Yard sent him down into the underworld, causing the courtroom to disappear.

As the woman then spoke with Kayo and prepared to leave with her, Allen called out to her and learned that she would be taking Kayo to her former location, as she had done with the others. He further learned that the last person she had to collect was Nemesis; when Allen asked to meet with her first, the Master opened a hole under Allen and Hänsel.[8] Dropped into the Grave Yard, the two boys began walking to look for the last sin contractor.

As he walked with Hänsel and came to the edge of a cliff, Allen learned more about their location as the resting place of the legacy of the Second Period, surrounded by the wreckage of the period's advanced technology. They then discussed how the Master of the Hellish Yard had claimed Nemesis was there. At the bottom of the cliff, the boys walked through the graves and remains of advanced technology until Hänsel, at Allen's suggestion, flew up and spotted Nemesis a ways off. He then carried Allen to a defunct clocktower, Nemesis on the viewing platform. The boys soon landed at the platform and introduced themselves to her.

As Allen and Hänsel questioned her, they were confused to hear Nemesis explain she was looking for Ma. They became even more confused when Nemesis displayed no understanding of having destroyed the world; Nemesis suddenly fled and Allen, grabbed by Hänsel, pursued her from the air. Losing sight of her, they touched back to the ground and Hänsel became distracted by a tree with red fruit on a hill. As he ran up the hill after Hänsel, he encountered Irregular and learned from Hänsel that he was a boy born just before the end of the world, who had died without an ego and thus only wandered aimlessly.

Irregular began to take an interest in the doll Hänsel carried, and as a result Allen and Hänsel were forced to run up the hill with the third boy in pursuit. After arriving at the tree, Allen spotted yet another boy, Amostia, with their face, before also seeing Nemesis with a golden key and a black box in her hands. Rushing to take the key from her, Allen and Hänsel grabbed it from Nemesis just as she turned it in the box. They heard the fourth boy by the tree say that it was too late and that Punishment had been mete out. As the boy began glowing, Allen heard a "Lu Li La" and was consumed by the light.[1]

Allen regained consciousness in the Black Box sometime later with the golden key in his hands, greeted by Sickle and again allowed out,[9] having been merged by Sickle with the Allen of that timeline.[10]

Amostia[]

A version of Amostia from an alternate timeline. Following the destruction of the Third Period in EC 999, the "boy" ended up in the Grave Yard and was activated by Nemesis there.[1]

Anne Lucifen d'Autriche[]

A version of Anne Lucifen d'Autriche from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, she and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Once there, Arth and Anne returned to the royal palace with their daughter and allowed Riliane to throw a dinner party for everyone from their era. During the festivities, the royal couple passed by Riliane's room in the halls and saw the princess flee into it.

Shortly after, they spotted Allen running after her and Anne began tearing up to see her son Alexiel again. After their brief reunion, Allen prepared to enter Riliane's room and Anne noticed Arth struggling to stand. Although she tried to help support him, Arth collapsed and Anne also began to feel tired as she breathed in some of the Eighth Gift. As she succumbed to the poison, Anne realized aloud that the symptoms were from Gift and fell into a deep slumber.[5]

Arth Lucifen d'Autriche[]

A version of Arth Lucifen d'Autriche from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Once there, Arth and Anne returned to the royal palace with Riliane and allowed her to throw a dinner party for everyone from their era.[5] During the festivities, the royal couple stayed behind from the crowd so as to not upstage their daughter;[11] later, they passed by Riliane's room in the halls and saw the princess flee into it.

Shortly after, they spotted Allen running after her and Arth greeted his long lost son, musing about how important he had become. As he talked with Allen, Arth shared his confidence that the world wasn't finished yet and, during their reunion, warmly expressed his pride in his son before allowing Allen to meet with Riliane. As Allen prepared to enter Riliane's room, however, Arth inhaled some of the Eighth Gift in the air and began feeling sleepy; despite Anne's attempts to support him, Arth collapsed to the ground and fell into a deep sleep.[5]

Asan[]

A version of Asan from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, he returned to his servant duties at the palace; there he helped with the preparations for Princess Riliane's dinner party in the Hall of Mirrors, along with his fellow servant, Olten.[5]

Banica Conchita[]

A version of Banica Conchita from an alternate timeline. Following the end of the Third Period and its subsequent merging with the Hellish Yard in EC 999, the defeated demon returned to Gasto with her servants and recreated an illusion of the Conchita Mansion there. Afterward, the Demon of Gluttony drowned herself in endless meals in the wake of her failure to bring about the end of the world she planned, dissatisfied with the taste of the illusionary food cooked for her.

Later on, Pollo reported to Banica that the sun god was sending Prince Alexiel, having become Allen Avadonia, to meet a contractor for each of the demons, her being the one for the Demon of Gluttony. Curious about what the sun god was plotting, Banica accepted the terms and awaited the boy's visit. She was eating another meal at her table in the dining hall when Allen entered.

Banica ignored the child and continued eating all the food before her, only distracted when Allen tasted of her food. After briefly being coy about her previous meeting with him during his childhood with Riliane, she confirmed with him his reason for being there. In the ensuing conversation she explained to him her reasons for why she had become a demon, as well as her belief that, despite the reincarnated god kins' reasoning, the world belonged to humanity.

Allen inquired as to her reasons for possessing Riliane and not him, and Banica told him it was because he was abnormal. Seeing his confusion, the demon elaborated about the knowledge and power she acquired as the demon including all of the sun god's rules she had to follow, citing he simply wasn't covered in them. When pressed for more information, she remained vague.

Then Banica directly asked what Sickle was plotting, though Allen was unable to answer. No longer interested in the conversation anymore, she stood and declared her intent to rest, mentioning as she left that Arte wanted to meet with him.[4]

Chartette Langley[]

A version of Chartette Langley from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, she and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, she decided to return to her duties as a maid in the palace and helped with the preparations for Princess Riliane's dinner party in the Hall of Mirrors. During the preparations, she met with Allen and forcibly conscripted his aid around the palace, the boy going on to clean up after her blunders when the party began properly.

As the servants prepared to bring out Riliane's giant cake, Chartette rushed Allen to help bring out the massive dessert and, with the other servants, she helped the other servants push out the cake at Prime Minister Minis' signal. She then watched as Riliane herself burst out of the dessert, only to be subsequently scolded by Germaine.[5]

Clarith[]

A version of Clarith from an alternate timeline. In the ruined world, she reunited with Michaela at the destroyed Millennium Tree Forest and learned about Allen Avadonia meeting with several of the Demons of Sin's previous contractors in the destroyed world.

When Sleep Princess's new Eighth Gift began spreading through the ground world's air and put all the afflicted souls to sleep, Clarith was tasked by Michaela with reaching Allen and summoning his aid to stop the rampaging Sleep Princess in Toragay. Given the god's temporary blessing as protection from the poison, Clarith took the horse Josephine, who was given the same blessing, and rode into the Lucifenian Royal Palace.

There she found Allen and, after greeting him, explained the alarming situation to the boy; she also explained how he was the only one who could stop Sleep Princess since only he could move freely across the ground world. As Allen hesitated, she pointed out the danger Riliane would be in if the Sleep Princess wasn't confronted immediately and took the boy onto the horse, galloping out of the palace.[5] As they approached the ruined city, Clarith spotted Hänsel on the path in the form of Lemy Abelard and stopped, startled.

As the boy offered to help with Eve, Clarith told him that he and the Sleep Princess shouldn't meet, as was Michaela's wish, explaining that him coming in contact with her would only lead to further chaos. Hänsel continued to argue with her, however, bringing out the Clockworker's Doll and insisting it was a tool from Michaela that would aid them. As the two became more hostile, Allen brought the argument to an end and allowed Hänsel to accompany them, before Clarith took off Josephine.

Once they entered the decimated ruins of Toragay and spotted the Sleep Princess, Clarith approached her with Allen and watched as the boy try to reason with the mad witch. She then whispered to him that she couldn't be reasoned with and suggested she had been like this for a long time, only acting on instinct and unaware of her own actions. Clarith then admitted she didn't know how to stop Sleep Princess and only anxiously watched as Allen tried, only for Hänsel to arrive and seal Sleep Princess back in the Clockworker's Doll before leaving.

Afterwards, Clarith explained to Allen that the Demon of Envy would guide him to the next contractor, Kayo Sudou, in Jakoku. As the demon arrived, Clarith gave her farewell since Josephine couldn't cross the sea. As Allen thanked her, she waved him off and thanked the "Crab Demon" for helping him, embarrassed to learn shortly after that the demon wasn't a crab. Afterwards, she watched as the demon transformed into her true fish form and leaped off towards the sea with Allen.[7]

Gallerian Marlon[]

A version of Gallerian Marlon from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, he and the other souls returned to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2]

Freed from hell, Gallerian reunited with his daughter Michelle. He soon after met with Gammon and Irina Clockworker, the being who once inhabited the doll. The four of them decided to collaborate to save the world by invoking the Court ending, planning to do so by having Irina's twin children, Adam and Eve, enact a Re_birthday while Irina's soul possessed the reconstructed Evil's Theater. As part of their plan, they also began seeking Ma, hoping to make her a pure being by merging the souls of the seven most compatible Demon of Sin contractors, including Michelle and Gallerian.[12]

Returning to Levianta, the judge recreated an illusion of the USE Dark Star Bureau courthouse, its audience, and its staff, continuing to preside over trials of the resident souls. Doing so, he searched for the other sin contractors and Ma under the pretense of looking for the vessels of sin. The Hellish Yard's space-time distortions caused the courthouse to appear in Enbizaka, Jakoku, and Gallerian sent out a summons to the resident tailor Kayo Sudou to judge her for her murders during life.

After it was confirmed Kayo had arrived in court, Gallerian tried and found her guilty of the charges involving the Enbizaka Murderer Scandal and sentenced her to decapitation. As a guillotine materialized in the center of the courtroom and he had Kayo dragged to it, the sentence was interrupted by Allen, who pleaded for them to stop. Approaching the boy, Gallerian mused over "Irregular" having arrived at his courtroom and then coldly agreed to exonerate Kayo for a bribe.

When Allen answered he didn't have any money, Gallerian considered and then declared Allen would be executed in Kayo's stead, mocking Allen when this caused the boy to break down. He then had his subordinates take him to the guillotine; before the judgment could be carried out, however, Gallerian heard another voice telling him to stop, and looked over to see the Clockworker's Doll on the defense stand. Perceiving it and the voice to be Michelle, Gallerian immediately calmed back down into the role of an affectionate father; when "Michelle" angrily lectured that he couldn't judge someone without a trial, Gallerian considered and announced Irregular would be tried for the charge of bringing the world to ruin.

He returned to the judge's stand, with Michelle saying she would be defense and Gallerian at a loss for a prosecutor. They were soon joined by the Master of the Hellish Yard, who declared, when he asked, that she was there for the trial: not as a prosecutor, but as a judge over Gallerian. Quickly recognizing the Master, Gallerian quarreled with her over his having escaped, claiming he would return to the underworld when he had finished collecting the vessels of sin. When the Master Hellish Yard next questioned his inviting Allen there, Gallerian insisted it was just a coincidence. Afterward, she opened a portal below his feet; screaming, the judge fell straight back to the underworld.[8]

Germaine Avadonia[]

A version of Germaine Avadonia from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, she and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, she returned to her role as the revolutionary hero, dressing in her famed red armor, and attended Princess Riliane's dinner party in the Hall of Mirrors.

During the festivities, Germaine became furious and scolded Riliane when the girl jumped out of her giant cake, ruining the dessert. During their argument, brushing off all of Riliane's threats, she pushed her toward the exit of the Hall of Mirrors. Riliane then ran off in the other direction and, while pursuing her, Germaine saw Allen run after the princess as well. Shocked, she called out to Allen and tried to follow him, only for Leonhart to hold her back.[5]

Gilles Derais[]

A version of Gilles Derais from an alternate timeline. Following the world's end, the demon regained his former memories as Gilles.[13] Afterward, the demons were approached by Sickle and were tasked with helping Allen Avadonia meet one of their previous contractors, Gilles' being Sateriasis Venomania. Once Allen summoned Gilles from the Venom Sword, he manifested before him. After the chatted about meeting previously, as well as Gilles' unexpected cooperation with the sun god, Gilles flew Allen to Asmodean and from there the Venomania Mansion.[2]

Nostalgic to be in such familiar surroundings, Gilles accompanied Allen inside the mansion after the boy had unlocked the door, encountering Sateriasis Venomania. After the Duke threatened to use his sword against Allen, the demon intervened and explained Allen's identity to him. Afterwards, Gilles watched Allen converse with first Sateriasis and then Maylis, growing bored. He then followed Allen outside when the boy concluded his interview on left.

After Allen had a conversation with Gumina Glassred and left the manor grounds, he got to chatting with Gilles again; during their conversation, Gilles discussed the possible reasons why there were so many humans with the same face. The two then spotted Hänsel with the Glass of Conchita in hand; with Hänsel in charge of taking Allen to his next contractor, Gilles was left relieved of duty and departed.[3]

While regaining his memories, Gilles vaguely recalled the colleague he had flirted with on the Climb One, who had become the moon goddess, and was surprised by both her disappearance and lack of acknowledgement among humanity. Hoping for answers from Rahab, Gilles had her meet him discreetly in the Court after she'd finished guiding Allen to Kayo Sudou; traveling beneath the sea to where the judgment place was now located, the two greeted each other in their original earthling forms and Gilles recounted the story of the "creation" of the Third Period and his own reincarnation into a demon.

He then brought up how the humans, who had received "revelations" about the world's creation from Levia and Behemo, omitted any mention of the moon goddess in their holy texts. Surprised to learn Rahab had never lost her memories when becoming a demon, he questioned her on what could have happened to the moon goddess when the two noticed a light approach the Court, indicating the blast from the Punishment boy Amostia.

While discussing the implications of this, Rahab related that everything would simply start over while the moon goddess still existed; Gilles was then shocked to learn that the moon goddess was not only still alive but that everyone was cognizant of her existence, despite not being aware of it. After hearing Rahab comment more on the "reality" of the world the "Four Pillar Gods" created, the surprised Gilles suddenly understood the truth and tried to ask one more question when their conversation was interrupted by the light consuming them.[13]

Gretel[]

A version of Gretel from an alternate timeline. After the Third Period's destruction and subsequent merging with the Hellish Yard in EC 999, Gretel and her twin joined Banica at the Conchita Mansion in Gasto, cooking and serving her desired meals in their forms as Arte and Pollo. When the Demon of Gluttony later agreed to the sun god's request of having Allen Avadonia meet with her among other demon contractors, Gretel became anxious to apologize to her half-brother from her Ney incarnation for murdering his beloved Michaela.

After Hänsel brought Allen to Banica and retrieved the Four Mirrors of Lucifenia from Michaela, he passed the vessel of sin to Gretel. Later on, the two leaned against the closed doors of the dining hall and listened in on their conversation. When Allen came outside to greet them, Gretel transformed into her Ney persona to speak with him properly; although attempting to make her apology, Gretel ultimately found herself unable to and she briefly discussed her Ney past life with Allen.

After confirming that Allen was going to see Riliane next, Gretel told him to give the princess her best wishes; after Allen said his goodbyes, Ney passed the four mirrors over to him. She then watched the Demon of Pride manifest its miniature form before it departed with Allen for Lucifenia.[4]

Gumillia[]

A version of Gumillia from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, Nemesis destroyed the Third Period and it subsequently merged with the Hellish Yard; as Gumillia discovered that all of the sin contractors had escaped to the ground world,[8] she left the Hellish Yard and met with Sickle and Michaela, the three deciding to reduce the influence of the Second Period in order to allow humanity to decide the ruined world's fate. Having learned of Sickle's plans, Gumillia was tasked with rounding up the contractors and dragging them back into hell after Allen met with them.[14]

The Master of the Hellish Yard eventually tracked Sateriasis Venomania to the Venomania Mansion in Lasaland and took him back to the bowels of the underworld. Traveling to Enbizaka afterward, the Master of the Hellish Yard entered the USE Dark Star Bureau courthouse and found Gallerian Marlon putting Allen Avadonia on trial while Kayo Sudou and Hänsel watched. Confronting Gallerian, she chided him with the other contractors about escaping, arguing with his declaration he would return after collecting the vessels of sin. She further quarreled with him over Allen's presence there before sending Gallerian back to the underworld.

Afterward, she started to take Kayo home as well, only for Allen to interrupt them. As she talked to the boy, she explained that she was taking the tailor to Hell as she had done with Gallerian, Venomania, and planned to do with Nemesis. As Allen asked to meet with Nemesis first, the Master opened a portal to the Grave Yard and abruptly sent the boy down. After sending Hänsel along with him, she returned Kayo to the underworld.[8]

Gumina Glassred[]

A version of Gumina Glassred from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, she and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, the girl returned to Duke Venomania's mansion in Lasaland and agreed to rejoin Sateriasis' harem along with Lukana, Mikulia, and Maylis. Later on, Gumina left the mansion with a canvas and her painting supplies; upon her return, she encountered Allen Avadonia and the Demon of Lust on their way out of the manor.

After Gumina briefly spoke with him about her identity, Allen asked her about her relationship with Sateriasis and Gumina became unresponsive. She then listened to the boy insist she should know that her love was what the duke had truly wanted and not the face and lust he was obsessed with. Angered, Gumina brushed him off and walked past him into the mansion, only to quietly wish they could start over as she did.[3] Some time after, the Master of the Hellish Yard visited and took Venomania back to the bowels of the Hellish Yard.[8]

Held Yggdra[]

A version of Held Yggdra from an alternate timeline. After the destruction of the Third Period by Punishment in EC 999, Sickle met with Held and related his plans to have Allen meet the souls of previous vessel of sin owners to review history in preparation for restoring the fallen souls back to the Heavenly Yard. To help, Held manifested himself in the ground world in an incorporeal form alongside Michaela, greeting Allen when the boy arrived. In response to Allen's questions, he explained how he was incorporeal so as to abide by Sickle's rules of non-interference, as well as explaining that even the forest they were in was an illusion with the real one destroyed. After conversing with Allen a little longer, he oversaw as the boy departed.[2]

Hänsel[]

A version of Hänsel from an alternate timeline. After the Third Period's destruction and subsequent merging with the Hellish Yard in EC 999, Hänsel and his twin joined Banica at the Conchita Mansion in Gasto, cooking and serving her desired meals in the forms of Arte and Pollo.[4] When the Demon of Gluttony later agreed to the sun god's request of having Allen Avadonia meet with her among other demon contractors, Hänsel was sent to Sateriasis Venomania's mansion in Lasaland meet with the other boy with the Glass of Conchita and escort him to his master.

Leaving Allen to wait for Conchita, the boy visited Michaela and retrieved the Four Mirrors of Lucifenia for Allen's next visit, passing the vessel of sin over to Gretel once he returned. The two then listened in on Allen and their master's conversation. When Banica left after telling Allen to see Arte, Hänsel went to sit down at Banica's empty seat at the table and eat her unfinished food.[4] When Sleep Princess began putting souls to sleep with her Eighth Gift later on, Hänsel decided to help stop her. Revisiting Michaela, the boy retrieved the Clockworker's Doll and transformed into his Lemy Abelard persona before flying off toward Toragay.[6]

Along the way, Hänsel spotted Clarith and Allen on their way to Toragay and tried to ride with them, insisting as Clarith protested and trying to show them the Clockworker's Doll he had brought. After Allen intervened, pointing out there was no room for him on the horse, Hänsel showed him the doll in more detail, explaining how it had been burned and then further damaged after birthing Adam from its womb in EC 999.

After promising to catch up with Allen and Clarith, and getting into another tense exchange with the latter, Hänsel followed on foot as the two rode to the ruins of Toragay on horseback. Once he finally arrived, finding Allen succumbing to the Sleep Princess' gift and Clarith unable to intervene, the boy remarked on their incompetence before sucking the Gift up with the Clockworker's Doll. He then used the doll on the Sleep Princess, sucking her inside.

After some further conversation with Allen on the outcome of the confrontation, Hänsel pointed out that Envy was next and discussed how the contractors from then on would all be more difficult. After encouraging him, Hänsel said his farewells and departed, both to return the Clockworker's Doll and to resume his service to Banica.[6] Soon after, however, Hänsel followed Allen to Gallerian Marlon's USE courthouse appearing in Jakoku.

Sneaking inside, he saw Allen intervene in Kayo Sudou's farcical trial and be forced to take her place on the guillotine by Gallerian. He unleashed Eighth Gift on the defense lawyer to put him to sleep before placing the doll on the defense's chair while hiding under the desk. Using ventriloquism, he imitated Michelle Marlon and convinced "her father" to not execute Allen without a proper trial, offering to stand as the defense.

Hänsel then observed the Master of the Hellish Yard enter and send Gallerian to the bowels of the Hellish Yard. He then revealed himself from his hiding spot and followed after Allen through the hell master's portal to Nemesis Sudou.[8] Landing on a pile of rubble, Hänsel walked with Allen until they reached the edge of a cliff, recognizing their new location as the Grave Yard Banica sought, having escaped Punishment's destruction.

Soon after explaining this to Allen, the two considered to search for Nemesis in the wreckage. After some time, Hänsel was reminded to fly and aid their search, spotting what he soon learned was Nemesis on the viewing platform of a defunct clocktower. As they met with Nemesis, the boys argued with her as she insisted she was looking for her mother, whom she claimed was still alive, before Hänsel declaring her crazy.

After Allen and Nemesis' conversation, Hänsel watched Nemesis flee and, startled, grabbed Allen and leaped off the platform after her. Soon, on Allen's suggestion the two returned to walking on foot. After a while of searching, the boy caught sight of a tree on a hill with fresh fruit of the Grave Yard; hoping to get one as a souvenir for Banica, Hänsel ran up the hill until running into Irregular. He greeted the boy and then Allen as he caught him, explaining who the other child was.

Noticing Irregular's interest in the Clockworker's Doll as his "mother," Hänsel refused to give the other boy the doll due to its power and then ran up the hill with Allen, Irregular in pursuit. Seeing that there was a fourth boy, who looked like Punishment, by the Grave Yard tree with Nemesis, Hänsel rushed with Allen to stop her from activating him. The two failed to stop her, however, and they were enveloped in the light emitted by the fourth boy.[1]

Josephine[]

A version of Josephine from an alternate timeline. After the destruction and merging of Third Period and the Hellish Yard by Punishment, Josephine's soul was dragged down to the ground world. Sometime after, Clarith rode Josephine to the Lucifenian Royal Palace to retrieve Allen on Michaela's orders.[5]

Kayo Sudou[]

A version of Kayo Sudou from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, she and the other souls returned to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Returning to Enbizaka, Kayo recreated an illusion of her hometown from her memories and returned to her daily routine of tailoring while also awaiting her husband. Some time after, the tailor was given summons to go on trial for her crimes in life at the USE Dark Star Bureau courthouse that appeared in Enbizaka.

Afterwards, Kayo headed down the main street toward the courthouse when she saw Allen Avadonia. Recognizing him as Ren, the surprised tailor greeted and chatted with him for a while, before Kayo noted the errand she had to run, further explaining how she needed to receive judgment. Entering the courthouse right in front of her,[7] she stood in the courtroom at the defendant's stand until Judge Gallerian Marlon arrived and began the trial.

During the proceedings, the tailor quietly listened to the prosecution and defense make their cases for the murder charges against her. Once Gallerian convicted Kayo to beheading by the guillotine, she was dragged to the execution tool that suddenly appeared. Fastened into the platform, Kayo remained calm as Allen intervened, which ended up causing himself to be trialed in her stead. She waited quietly in the hearing seats while Allen was trialed.

After the Master of the Hellish Yard arrived and transported Gallerian into the Hellish Yard, the masked woman prepared to collect Kayo as well. Although initially refusing, saying she hadn't received judgment, the woman reminded her that she already had and wasn't going to see her family again, causing Kayo to give up. The two later went back to the Hellish Yard.[8]

Keel Freezis[]

A version of Keel Freezis from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, Keel was invited to a dinner party at the Lucifenian Royal Palace held in Princess Riliane's honor.

Upon Yukina's request, Keel brought her along, joining the other guests in the Hall of Mirrors. Later during the festivities, Keel spotted Allen among the crowd and called out to him, chatting with him about their positions in the afterlife.

Chartette Langley then interrupted their conversation and Keel watched as she dragged Allen away to help the other servants with the event. Later during the party, Keel saw Riliane's giant cake be brought out before the princess leaped out of the dessert and commanded everyone there to kneel to her. He then watched Germaine lecture her and begin dragging her out of the Hall of Mirrors before the princess ran off. Later on, Keel inhaled the Eighth Gift in the palace air and fell into a deep slumber.[5]

Leonhart Avadonia[]

A version of Leonhart Avadonia from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, he returned to his duties as captain of the royal guard in the palace and attended Princess Riliane's dinner party in the Hall of Mirrors, overseeing its security.

During the festivities, Leonhart watched as Riliane's giant cake was brought out before the princess leaped out of the dessert and commanded everyone there to kneel to her. He then watched Germaine lecture her and begin dragging her out of the Hall of Mirrors. When the princess fled out of the hall from his foster daughter, the knight spotted Allen trying to chase after her.

As Germaine attempted to run after Allen, Leonhart grabbed her by the shoulder and held her back despite her protests, allowing his foster son to go after his twin. Later during the festivities, he inhaled the Eighth Gift in the palace air and fell into a deep slumber.[5]

Lukana Octo[]

A version of Lukana Octo from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, she and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, the girl returned to Duke Venomania's mansion in Lasaland and agreed to rejoin Sateriasis' harem along with Mikulia, Gumina, and Maylis.

While attending to Venomania at his throne, Lukana was witness Allen Avadonia's arrival and watched as he spoke with the duke, as well as Maylis.[3] Some time after Allen left, the Master of the Hellish Yard visited and took Venomania back to the bowels of the Hellish Yard.[8]

Marie Annette[]

A version of Marie Annette from an alternate timeline. Following the destruction of the Third Period in EC 999, the demons were approached by the sun god, who tasked each of them with helping Allen Avadonia meet one of their previous contractors, the Demon of Pride's being Princess Riliane.

Once Hänsel and Gretel passed the mirrors to Allen at the Conchita Mansion, the demon manifested and subsequently was irritated by Allen's comment on its small size, which was due to Held and Michaela's interference. The demon then slowly flew them both to Lucifenia,[4] returning to the forest afterward dropping Allen off at the Lucifenian Royal Palace.[5]

Maylis Beelzenia[]

A version of Maylis Beelzenia from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, she and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, the conflicted princess returned to Duke Venomania's mansion in Lasaland and agreed to rejoin Sateriasis' harem along with Mikulia, Gumina, and Lukana.

While attending to Venomania at his throne, the group noticed "Irregular" enter and talk with the duke. He later spoke with Maylis and, after he introduced himself as Allen and Maylis had quieted the jealous Sateriasis, the boy began to interview her over why she was in the harem instead of Beelzenia. Maylis clarified how she hated Sateriasis, but explained that her feelings on the matter were complex, possibly because of his relation to her daughter.

When Allen asked her about the other women, Maylis admitted feeling that Lukana and Mikulia really were in love with the duke but she was uncertain with Gumina. Allen soon after departed with the demon to speak with Banica Conchita.[3] Some time after Allen left, the Master of the Hellish Yard visited and took Venomania back to the bowels of the Hellish Yard.[8]

Michaela[]

A version of Michaela from an alternate timeline. After the Millennium Tree Forest was destroyed by Punishment in EC 999, Michaela along with Gumillia met with Sickle, deciding to reduce the influence of the Second Period in order to allow humanity to decide the ruined world's fate. Having learned of Sickle's plans, Michaela was tasked with managing both the vessels of sin and their demons.[14]

Once Allen arrived to the illusory remains of the forest, Michaela went to greet him in her robin form and listened as Allen conversed with the disembodied Held over the current situation. She then called the boy over to her tree body and summoned the seven vessels of sin around her, suggesting he start with the Venom Sword and be guided by the Demon of Lust. When Allen tried to talk with her, she cut him off and told him the sun god wanted them to hurry.

Once Allen left with the Venom Sword to meet Sateriasis Venomania, Michaela waited for him to complete his task.[2] A little later, when Sleep Princess began poisoning the souls of the dead with the eighth gift, she gave Clarith and Josephine a protective blessing to keep them from falling asleep and sent them out to fetch Allen to stop her. She also gifted Hänsel with the Clockworker's Doll and sent him out to help seal Michelle inside of it.[6]

Michelle Marlon[]

A version of Michelle Marlon from an alternate timeline. Following the destruction of the Third Period in EC 999, Michelle reunited with her father Gallerian. They soon after met with Gammon Octo, of the Tasan Party, and Irina Clockworker, the being who once inhabited the Clockworker's Doll. The four of them decided to collaborate to save the world by invoking the Court ending, planning to do so by having Irina's twin children, Adam and Eve, enact a Re_birthday while Irina's soul possessed the reconstructed Evil's Theater.

As part of their plan, they also began seeking Ma, hoping to make her a pure being by merging the souls of the seven most compatible Demon of Sin contractors, including Michelle and Gallerian.[12] In order to facilitate this, Michelle forged a contract with Eve, obtaining her power so that she could put to sleep any souls that might get in the way of the hunt for the contractors.[14] Assuming the appearance of Margarita Blankenheim, "Sleep Princess" traveled to Toragay.

Channeling Eve's memories and personality, Michelle, refined a Eighth Gift formula that could put souls to sleep. She then unleashed her new poison into the air, spreading it across the Evillious region as it put the souls of the Hellish Yard into a deep slumber. Sometime after, Michelle was approached by Allen Avadonia; under the delusion that she was Eve Moonlit due to her power usage, she mistook him for Hänsel and quarreled with him as she spread even more Gift through the air.

As she, deeply entrenched in her Eve identity, refused to listen to reason, Michelle was approached by the real Hänsel. Despite her attempts to stop him, Michelle and her poison were sealed away in the Clockworker's Doll.[6]

Mikulia Greeonio[]

A version of Mikulia Greeonio from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, she and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, the girl returned to Duke Venomania's mansion in Lasaland and agreed to rejoin Sateriasis' harem along with Lukana, Gumina, and Maylis. While attending to Venomania at his throne, Mikulia curiously watched Allen Avadonia walk in on them and converse with the duke, and later stood by as Venomania drank some tea.[3] Some time after Allen left, the Master of the Hellish Yard visited and took Venomania back to the bowels of the Hellish Yard.[8]

Minis Stoup[]

A version of Minis Stoup from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, he returned to his prime minister duties at the palace and helped with the preparations for Princess Riliane's dinner party in the Hall of Mirrors, even presenting Riliane's giant cake as he had once done in life. Minis then watched Riliane burst out of the cake and get into an argument with Germaine Avadonia, before the princess escaped and ran off, pursued by Allen.[5]

Nemesis Sudou[]

A version of Nemesis Sudou from an alternate timeline. After the destruction of the world, Nemesis' soul was separated from her body and became deluded into thinking she was still Levia, while her body stayed alive due to her contract. As the Third Period merged with the Hellish Yard, the soulless body ended up in the Grave Yard and began to instinctively carry out the last things that she had done before losing her soul: killing Ma and destroying the world. In the middle of seeking Ma from a clocktower viewing platform, Nemesis was startled by the arrival of Allen Avadonia and Hänsel.

As the boys tried to question her, Nemesis insisted she was looking for Ma and was unable to understand Allen's assertions that she was dead and that the world was already destroyed. Nemesis abruptly leaped from the platform and dashed to a hill, where a "boy" she perceived to be Punishment was waiting with the black box and golden key used to fire it.

Retrieving these tools, Nemesis prepared to fire Punishment and, despite Allen and Hänsel's attempts to stop her, inserted the golden key. As Allen wrestled the key from her, the "boy" enveloped everything in its explosive light.[1]

Olten[]

A version of Olten[note 1] from an alternate timeline. Born sometime during the fifth century EC in Lucifenia, he became a servant at the Lucifenian Royal Palace. Following his death, Olten's soul was sent to the Heavenly Yard and remained there. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, he returned to his servant duties at the palace and helped with the preparations for Princess Riliane's dinner party in the Hall of Mirrors.[5]

Rahab Barisol[]

A version of Rahab Barisol from an alternate timeline. After the Third Period's destruction and subsequent merging with the Hellish Yard in EC 999, Rahab was tasked by Sickle with helping Allen Avadonia meet Kayo Sudou.

After waiting through the boy's meeting with the demons of Lust and Gluttony,[6] Rahab was told by Gilles to meet with him in the Court once she finished guiding Allen to Kayo.[13] Traveling to the site of Toragay in her half-fish form, Rahab watched Allen and Hänsel defeat the "Sleep Princess", Michelle Marlon, and then greeted the former, explaining that she was the Demon of Envy and that they would be swimming to Jakoku.

Not long after Clarith and Allen said their goodbyes to each other, Rahab had Allen climb on her back and fully transformed into a fish. She then began swimming to Jakoku.[6] Some time after, Rahab saw Jakoku in the distance and was briefly confused that they would arrive at their destination so soon, although noting a few reasons why this would happen. Pressing onward, Rahab arrived at Jakoku and moved on to Onigashima, where she turned back to her humanoid form and followed Allen to Enbizaka. After they reached the slope leading to Kayo's home, the demon ended up only watching Allen ascend the hill.[7]

Afterward, Rahab transformed back to her fish form and swam deep into the ocean. Once she reached the Court, she returned to her original form and met with Gilles; she listened as Gilles recounted the story of the Third Period's "creation" and briefly spoke to him about how he had for a time lost all of his memories of the event, in contrast to her. She also listened as Gilles brought up how the humans had written up the story from Levia and Behemo's "revelations," but pointed out how the gods had evidently omitted the moon goddess from their account.

Surprised that Gilles remembered the moon goddess, Rahab denied murdering her like she did the women he was involved with and then the two were interrupted by a bright light. Noting that it was Amostia, Rahab remarked on the light and reassured Gilles that they wouldn't be killed, claiming things would simply start over while the moon goddess still existed. She then clarified that he and everyone else born into the world should already be cognizant of her existence even if they weren't aware of it. After telling him the "four gods" had hidden her existence beforehand, their conversation was interrupted by the light consuming them.[13]

Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche[]

A version of Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche from an alternate timeline. After the destruction of the Third Period in EC 999, Riliane returned to the palace and reunited with her parents. Deciding to throw a dinner party for everyone from their era, Riliane hid inside a reconstructed version of her giant cake; when the cake was presented during the festivities, she burst out of it and commanded everyone to kneel to her.

Not long after, Germaine began chastising Riliane for having spoiled the food for everyone else, and she petulantly tried to threaten Germaine to no avail. Once Germaine started pushing her to the exit of the Hall of Mirrors, Riliane fled and ran all the way to her room.[5]

Salem Dunbar[]

A version of Salem Dunbar from an alternate timeline. Following the Third Period's destruction in EC 999, Salem along with the other demons was approached by Sickle, each of them tasked with helping Allen Avadonia meet with previous sin contractors. The demon later manifested and traveled to Enbizaka, Jakoku. Observing Allen's attempt to climb up the steep city slope to meet Kayo Sudou, the demon noticed that space-time distortions were preventing him from reaching the top and offered to lend his power to help him in return for future compensation.

Allen agreed to the deal, although pointing out he had no currency and that it would be pointless in the ended world. Invoking his power, the demon used a flash to cast a shadow leading out of the spatial loop. The boy followed the shadow out of the loop and the demon disappeared.[7]

Sateriasis Venomania[]

A version of Sateriasis Venomania from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard, Venomania's soul returned to the Third Period; as a result of the merge,[2] his memories and those of others in Asmodean reconstructed the capital Lasaland and the former Duke returned to the site of his mansion.

Meeting with Maylis, Lukana, Mikulia, and Gumina, the former Duke invited the members of his former harem to live with him once again of their own free will, promising to behave for their cooperation. As he attended to his harem, Sateriasis was visited by Allen and, becoming jealous to see another male, tried to throw him out before he saw he was accompanied by the Demon of Lust. Learning he was the "Irregular" boy of which the Master of the Hellish Yard spoke, Sateriasis allowed Allen to start interviewing him in the interest of studying his history.

After discussing how he had managed to keep his brother's face, Sateriasis went to explaining that he had regained some of his harem despite no longer wishing to use force to obtain women. He then got into a debate with Allen about his positive views on polygamy, before the boy went to interview one of the women instead. Although incensed with jealousy, he behaved himself at Maylis' admonishment. While Maylis and Allen spoke, Duke Venomania took tea with Lukana and Mikulia. Before Allen left the mansion, Sateriasis requested him to, if he found I.R., ask her to come see him.[3] Some time after Allen left, the Master of the Hellish Yard visited and took Sateriasis back to the bowels of the Hellish Yard.[8]

Seth Twiright[]

A version of Seth Twiright from an alternate timeline. By the time that the destroyed Third Period had subsequently merged with the Hellish Yard, Seth had left his vessel and returned to being worn by the Master of the Hellish Yard. Nonetheless he maintained his contract with Nemesis even as her soul was split off from her body. Her physical body, kept alive by the demonic magic, began instinctively trying to reenact the destruction of the Third Period.[15]

Meanwhile, each demon was approached by the sun god and tasked with helping Michaela have Allen Avadonia meet one of their previous contractors, the Demon of Wrath's being Nemesis Sudou. After the demons agreed to cooperate,[2] Seth was worn on the Master of the Hellish Yard's face while she began collecting other former contractors who escaped the underworld. He thus accompanied her while she collected all of them but the living Nemesis, to whom she sent Allen directly.[8]

Sickle[]

A version of Sickle from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, Sickle witnessed the Third Period's collapse due to Nemesis Sudou and her weapon Punishment, seeing the ground world become part of the Hellish Yard and pull all the souls from the Heavenly Yard to the ground, as he had set up as the worst of the four endings. Disapproving of these events, Sickle set out to break his rules and interfere in his creation, deciding to borrow Michaela's power.[2]

Meeting with Michaela and Gumillia, the three of them agreed to reduce the influence of the Second Period in order to allow humanity to decide the ruined world's fate, with Sickle sending down Allen to meet each of the seven contractors.[14] Beginning to make his own preparations, Sickle also related his plans to both Held and the demons at some point.

After they and the demons agreed to cooperate, the sun god returned to the fields of the Heavenly Yard and greeted Allen in Black Box, setting him free and explaining how everyone had been pulled down to the Hellish Yard. Sickle soon after explained how he wanted Allen to restore the fallen souls, but to first review history in a new way: by interviewing all the souls important to history, namely those influenced by the Demons of Sin. After Allen agreed to the task, Sickle related that Held and Michaela were awaiting him and that he should contact them once he arrived in the ground world.

When Allen became embarrassed by mention of Michaela and went deep into thought, Sickle urged him to not be too absorbed in his own thoughts, pointing out how the boy usually acted when it was too late to stop something. He then directed Allen to use the black box to appear to the ground world, setting the destination to the Millennium Tree Forest's location. Once the boy jumped back in Black Box and left, Sickle resumed his preparations for the following stages in the plan.[2]

Zusco[]

A version of Zusco from an alternate timeline. In EC 999, he and the other souls were pulled back to the Third Period as the ground world merged with the Hellish Yard.[2] Afterward, Zusco and Yarera were invited to a dinner party at the Lucifenian Royal Palace held in Princess Riliane's honor and joined the other guests in the Hall of Mirrors. Later during the festivities, Zusco saw his brother collapse and frantically called out to him.[5]
