Trivia[]
Conceptualization and Origin[]
- The series is based on the "Four Last Things" present in Hieronymus Bosch's The Seven Deadly Sins and the Four Last Things; this also ties it directly to the Seven Deadly Sins.
- The Four Last Things themselves are based upon the events predicted in the biblical Book of Revelation, foretelling the Last Judgment and the end of the world; they are Judgment, Death, Hell, and Heaven.
Curiosities[]
- Mothy has stated that the likelihood of him posting the songs on Nico Nico Douga is "thin".[2]
- Despite being all "Masters" that preside over a certain place, they are not a distinct group or organization; their names are taken from titles used by the surviving gods in the universe.[3]
