Hey Everyone![]

I'm new to this whole running a wikia thing, so please bear with me! I just wanted to say that I'm very thankful for all of your help when it comes to creating pages and the like. I'm lazy, so it's good to know that others are working on pages, as well. So, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to better this wikia in any way? BigMouth12349 01:19, February 11, 2012 (UTC)

Hello! I think that this Wiki's a pretty awesome idea, since there's enough material to warrant organizing it this way, and it takes some pressure off having to condense it into a few pages on the Vocaloid Wiki.

For suggestions, I think it might not be a bad idea to make distinctions between Story of Evil songs and Story of Evil novels, since some characters don't appear at all in the songs and yet have roles with some substance in the books, and since Praeludium of Red and Prefazio of Blue take place several years after the events in the songs. The sections for songs would only have to be the bare minimum, so Riliane's Daughter of Evil section wouldn't mention her amnesia or her dead parents while her Novel section would.

There might be some use out of making more categories, too. Things like "Songs connected to Luxuria" or "Songs in the Clockwork Lullaby series" or "Characters played by Meiko". For that last bit, however, I don't know how to categorize the characters who only have one notable role (Teto, Leon, Lily, Haku, etc.). This would be more useful once more pages are added, though.

Thanks again for starting this! A-chana 06:04, February 11, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your input! I like the idea of using distinctions between the SoE songs and novels, once we get around to adding pages for that story arc. I'm afraid I'm woefully unknowledgeable about the novels (Rilianne had amnesia? I knew that she didn't recognize Allen but... Oh.). However, I think that maybe the character page could be the same, but organized into two different sections? I don't know... Making two different character pages just seems a bit strange to me, for some reason. But I don't know. I'm very indecisive.

As for making more catagories, I think that's a wonderful idea. Perhaps we could make a "Clockwork Lullaby" catagory, an "Original Sin" catagory, a "Seven Deadly Sins" catagory, and a "Story of Evil" catagory where the appropriate characters, songs, and theories could go? Unless there's some sort of way to make subcatagories that I'm unaware of... Then it might make more sense to have those catagories as subcatagories in the "Characters," "Songs," and "Theories" sections... Although, now that I think about it, making it the other way around might make more sense. Is there a way to do subcatagories that anyone knows of? Like I stated above, I'm new to this.

On a somewhat-unrelated note, I've been wanting to make pages for places in the Evillious Chronicles (like Eldoh's Forest, Lucifenia, etc.). Does that seem like a good idea? BigMouth12349 02:09, February 12, 2012 (UTC)

Right, putting it on the same page seems to make the most sense. I'm thinking it would be like the "Featured in.." sections, where the novels are considered their own "song", but splitting it into its own header can also work. And don't worry, I'm not very clear on what happens in the novels, either (Such as that thing about Riliane; I don't know if she ever regains her memories of Allen or if all she gets is his confession that they're twins). Most of my knowledge comes from asking around and comparing what various people tell me, which doesn't help a lot with the post-timeskip stuff. I'm kind of intimidated by the idea of taking on anything in SoE, to be honest, just because it'll have the most attention.

With categories, I think that hitting the "add category" button at the bottom of the page would could on a category page, if I'm making any sense... I'm going to try it now with the characters and see how it works; this can be changed later if someone thinks of a better arrangement of categories.

ETA: This is probably a horribly inefficient way of doing this, but what I ended up doing was 1) add a new category to an article, in this case "represented by X"; 2) make a page for that new category; and 3) add the parent category, the general "Characters" one, to this new page. I'm not sure why the new categories don't seem to show up automatically when I start typing them in a list, though. I'll set up the rest for the main eight Vocaloids.

Adding information about locations seems very helpful. The countries would probably have their own pages with some sections about their known history and locations. I'm not sure where the USE (where many of the countries combined into one) would fit in -- probably not as its own page but as a mention in relevant countries, since I can't see dumping Asmodean in Belzenia's page just because it was part of it once. Kurosupairu 23:53, February 12, 2012 (UTC) Hi, I would like to help out with the wiki aswell. I have only made minor changes to pages so far. Let me know if there is anything you need help with but please keep in mind that this is my first time editing a wiki. Also, I might not be able to contribute to this project full-time due to school and other commitments.Kurosupairu 23:53, February 12, 2012 (UTC)

A-chana: Oh, putting it in the "Featured in..." Section is a great idea, I think! And trust me, I know how you feel about being intimidated by SoE. It's a big undertaking that I'm sort of avoiding in the hopes that someone else will take it on, heh heh.

Oh, thanks for your help! I think I'm just going to make the series regular catagories, to save myself the hassle. But I like the subcatagories you added!

I will get around to making pages for locations... Eventually. As soon as I stop being a lazy bum.

Kurosupairu: Welcome! Don't worry, this is my first time editing a wiki, too. And no one expects you to give your full time! This is a group effort, and everyone has outside commitments. In fact, I have play practice on Sundays and Mondays, Cheer practice on Wednesdays, and I generally have to cheer on Tuesdays, and then either Thursdays or Fridays. I understand outside commitments, haha. BigMouth12349 00:44, February 13, 2012 (UTC)

Hello! I am a big time follower of the Evillious Chronicles and when I found out about this wikia, I was psyched! If there's anything that needs clarifying, let me know! As of now, I am fitting the pieces together on the whole Story of Evil saga. peace out. Animak3000 01:41, February 26, 2012 (UTC)

A Question...[]

When it comes to characters like the "Master of the Graveyard" and such, should they have their own pages, or should they be added on to their original form's pages (ex: "Master of the Graveyard" and her songs would be on Banika Conchita's page). Personally, I'm leaning towards giving them their own pages, and merely putting them into the "Connections to other characters" section, but I wanted to know what you guys thought. BigMouth12349 16:33, February 15, 2012 (UTC)

She should have her own page. Simply because she is not Conchita. The warlich 11:15, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

I figured as much. I do have a question, though: Are the Master of the Graveyard's servants the maid and butler of Conchita reborn? Or are they different people, as well? BigMouth12349 23:55, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

I agree with The warlich. Those types of charecters should have their own pages because they are not officially the same character. Im not sure what you would do for Elluka Clockworker though as she supposedly Ma and Lukana(hopefully i got that right.) but in a different appearance and name. A connection to other characters section would be a good idea as well. To answer BigMouth12349's question, according to the vocaloid wiki as well as many fans including myself, the master of the graveyard servants are the maid and butler of conchita reborn. But I wouldn't be suprised if they do turn out to be different people.Kurosupairu 18:30, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

Suggestions[]

I thought it would be a good idea to have a section like this for the wiki where people could write ideas that they have in order to make this wiki better so that all the ideas aren't just scattered around under various topics. My first suggestion is in the top catergories section, that we have a link to a section featuring all of the songs in the series so far for added convienience. I know that there already was a link like that but I think we should bring it back because it's currently not there. Also I think there should be an official category as well for theories in that section. Let me know what you guys (or girls) think. Kurosupairu 18:42, February 20, 2012 (UTC)

Not so much as a suggestion but should have a page for mothy's albums/tracklists?
