The Evillious Commerce Alliance[1] was a trade coalition composed of various businesses in Evillious. Led by the Freezis Firm, the group eventually dominated the Evillious market through its communication network, growing into a financial empire.

History

Foundation

Sometime during the EC 490s, numerous business owners agreed to join the alliance proposed by Keel Freezis, forming the Evillious Commerce Alliance. Headed by the Freezis Firm, its members began meeting through Keel's banquets and eventually established a communication network.[2] Sometime after, the Association intelligence network joined the union.[3] The trade coalition eventually dominated the market and became the richest conglomerate by the sixth century EC.[4] Around that time, the Freezis Firm used its assets to fund the machinations of Queen Prim Marlon,[5] as well as the construction of the Held Monastery.[6]

Reign of Evil

In EC 499, the Freezis Firm agreed to send aid to the Kingdom of Lucifenia on behalf of the Elphegortean government as part of a joint effort with the Kingdom of Marlon to relieve Lucifenia's famine and troubled populace.[7] Following the Freezis Family's arrest in the Lucifenia-Elphegort War, the merchant Corpa sheltered them in his mansion in Rolled. The Freezis Firm later supported the Lucifenian Resistance. After the outbreak of the Lucifenian Revolution later that year, the alliance's Rollam merchant commanded the city's middle class into a frenzy when the revolutionary army's battle at Rollam became dire.[8]

Marlon Operations

Following Marlon's annexation of Lucifenia, the trade union supported King Kyle's regime, its business flourishing under his reign. The Freezis Family later moved to Bariti, Marlon, transferring the Freezis Firm's headquarters there. Supporting the reign of King Kyle Marlon, the conglomerate's domestic sales grew due to Marlon's navy blockade of Elphegort. In EC 505, the Corpa Firm's business grew under King Kyle's reign. The Freezis Firm later supplied weapons to Kyle's army shortly before the Battle of Castle Hedgehog. In EC 531, Shaw Freezis took over his father's position and reorganized the Freezis Firm into the Freezis Foundation.
