At the End of a Millennium Vow is a song released by Akuno-P on December 20, 2023 as part of the Miku Symphony 2023 album. It follows the story of Michaela as she sings about the various events she had seen across the thousand-year existence of the Third Period.

Plot[]

After a thousand years, the world's fated ruin as established in the rules came to be. The Millennium Tree, silently standing by, watched over the tale of crimes and punishements woven by humanity.

One day, deep in the forest, Michaela met the witch Eve Moonlit and fell in love with her. Because of this, the forest spirit told her the location of two red fruits. This was the beginning of all sin; as seven lights were unleashed, the sorceress of time pursued them. As the Demons of Sin began to move, Michaela couldn't do anything due to being a small, delicate robin.

Centuries later, that sorceress sought out an apprentice and eventually choosing Michaela. Reincarnated as a human, the girl modeled her new appearance after the person she loved. Through her experiences with a timid girl and a kind servant, she learned the joys of living as a human and forgot about the sin that was unleashed. However, its footsteps began to approach her from behind.

Michaela was stabbed by an assassin, wondering if they were a pawn of the Daughter of Evil as her body lost strenght. Her body was then changed into a small sapling that later grew into a great tree that would watch over the forest. A hundred years later, she was suddenly reunited with Eve only to watch her be taken in by the sorceress of time.

Hating her father, Nemesis Sudou became a ruler of the world; additionally hating the world, she engulfed everything with the fires of "Punishment" and ended all sin. However, even as the world became a barren wasteland, Michaela's heart still remained. She vowed to sing with everyone so that the world would be reborn through the various utopias that its inhabitants wished for.
