Association

The Association was an underworld organization dedicated to collecting and distributing information. Stretching far across the Evillious region, the secretive guild maintained anonymous membership with all its members known as simply "Bruno".

History

Foundation

At some point, the organization was founded and developed into a sprawling information network. As time progressed, the Association and its aliased "Bruno" members extended their reach across Evillious, holding a branch in nearly every major nation. Around EC 324, the Association supplied information regarding the Conchita Mansion to Platonic for the thief's heist and later on Elluka Clockworker for the same thief.

Merge

At some point during the late EC 400s, the Association fell under the umbrella of the trade coalition run by Keel Freesis. Afterwards, it was decided that the closest and most trusted aide to the Freesis family would adopt the name "Bruno" in recognition of the Association; following the death of the family's head, this Bruno inherited all their power over the trade coalition until the new heir was selected in a month's time.

As the Freesis Firm grew, Keel Freesis' most trusted chamberlain retained the name Bruno and acted as his informant, even after his retirement in EC 502. At some point, after Shaw Freesis expanded the Firm into the Freesis Foundation, a member of the Marlon family became his aide and adopted the name, although secretly doing dealings with Père Noël. After Shaw's death, Bruno Marlon was made vice president of the Foundation.

• Interestingly, the butler in service to Keel Freesis was also named Bruno and supplied the merchant with extensive information for the Freesis Firm.
