I think Octo should be kept as-is because it was originally a western name. Realize now it's too late to chime in but I would have said the same for Lang, as it's clearly from Langley.

Dead websites!

I recently discovered to my horror that akunomusume.com was dead. Oh no! Luckily the pages are still alive at archive.org, just like they are for akuno7.com (RIP...) Which brings me to my topic: should we link to archived versions of the websites on pages or the "live" ones which are, um, dead? Also while we're here I'm gonna bring up again that I found an archived version of the site for Screws Gears and Pride with mothy's prose intact if anyone wants to do something with that.

(also i found a super old website of mothy's that hasn't been updated in like a decade it looks fantastic)

The first and third are likely typoes. It's very possible that the second was how it was always supposed to be written and that's a mistake on our part.

Probably not, since the lyrics already talked about her first life, and this is a portion talking about her second life. The layout of the song seems to imply that this was as Arte.

I mean yeah, but it's weird how we got good translations for OSSCE and not MoN. Like, did they just get two different "translators" on albums from the same producer? I don't understand

We should update the title for the first TTDS novel (it only shows up for like once on mothy's page) because oops! We missed a word. I changed it to "The Three Daughters of Sir Torture" and price did a full post on it here. Probably not something that needs to be posted here but I'm overly cautious. And those changes sound good to me.

First novel mentions the drink Blood Grave, and the bonus story mentions the criminal organization Pere Noel, as well as someone having "her" (also known as "Malice"). That's what I've got so far, anyways.

The EC references seem to really start to appear in the final novel, where a mysterious boy resembling Rack, Amo, arrives and tells them about the tale of the "selfish princess and her servant". Hm...

I transcribed the entire manga for no good reason, the intro/profiles at the beginning of each novel, and a section in the third novel titled "BLACKBOX". I know if I do any more I'll just be tempted to put that into google translate and nobody wants that.

I own the novels and I transcribed part of it a while ago. I can read Katakana so I picked up on Amostia but that's about it. I can't read Kanji or translate, so I can't do much else, but if someone else ever wants to give a shot at not machine translation I'd be happy to help.
