This came up in comments a little while back; may be worth discussion:
Ilotte's name is イーロット (Iirotto) and it was suggested that his name might be inspired by the term "erotic" for more Venomania sex puns. The only two spellings for erotic that I could find were エロチック (erochikku) and エロティック (erotikku). Nothing really similar, but it may still be possible.
In the case of his first wife, Nylpho (Nirufo), you can swap out the "ru" character with "n" to get "Ninfo" or "Nympho", ie "nymphomaniac", which Venomania is also partially referencing.
If we take that to be a similar case as Ilotte, we could change it to something like "Irot" or "Yrot" to closer resemble the intended reference. I also found something called "E-rotic" (イー ティック), which does use that extended イー (ii) sound for the letter E. While that term separate the E from the "rotic" in the Japanese, a similar effect may be being applied here, so perhaps Erot would still work. However, I'm personally less inclined for this one as I feel the intended pronunciation would be misconstrued unnecessarily vs the other options.
Personally, so long as we drop the unnecessary "te" in our current translation, I'm satisfied but I see no issue in changing it more if we want something a little more obvious like with Nylpho.
